Climate change obviously caused by the oil sands exploitation. Gaia is wreaking vengeance.
I know you are only trolling, but you are probably correct. You probably think only your god is capable of inflicting disasters but you are wrong. Ironic ain't it?

Never trust the city planning departments. Some are finding condos that were never
really inspected just signed off on and the owners are stuck paying a fortune in the
Lower Mainland. They have a few structures in interior cities that leave a lot to be
desired. The only person you can trust is YOU. Find out what you are buying and
make sure the signature is good from the company you buy from. Don't assume
anything. You are sold a loophole and the contract is inside it. If you need to collect
you need to know what it says. I read mine more than once. Flood insurance is
offered separately in many cases.
As for the soil Yup it will tell you all you need to know, doesn't lie.
And a question, these Acts of God in policies. Why are all acts of God violent.
He really needs to take an anger management course

I think the fault with leaky condos is pretty clear.............building contractor 50% building inspector 50%

Frig, you can't get close to the flood areas now, military and police have road blocks everywhere.

But with that said...

Anyone honestly think Climate Change is not real.. I mean come on..

Places are too wet, others too dry and fires..

O.K. the world is getting warmer in the upper atmosphere, which causes more moisture. The reason for strong tornadoes in Oklahoma and now Calgary... Alberta is sinking..

Cause and effect.. have no clue to the actual cause.. but.

Well stupid as stupid does, Boomer ..............and many people are stupid enough to want to get close to the raging water w/o realizing the real danger they are put themselves in. I would be thankful that authorities are shutting down the effected areas - the last thing they need is to worry about fools putting themselves in harms way.

The river gets terrifyingly high every June, but there isn't usually too much rain. This spring has been like Seattle, it has been cold and wet with the usual seasonally high river.

Calgary, the land that urban planning forgot, is stuck on stupid when it come to these things. There is way too much development along the river and much of it is pretty high density and it is the official policy of the city to just keep cranking it up further and further. Because what goes better in a flood plain with a high water table than a high-rise with half a dozen floors of underground parking?

When the railroad came to town it followed the rough contour of the river valley and everything since was built out from there, rather than a mile in either direction at much higher elevation.

Calgary is not the only city stuck on stupid, Boom...............there are many places on the lower mainland of BC where homes should never ever have been built and time after time been flooded...........but still people want to be close to the water........go figure.
