Our Anglican minister found this amusing; and supported the "free advertising" take on it.

Basically, he just shrugged and said "takes all kinds"

Far more important stuff exists over which to get our nighties in a knot, IMHO.

But, whatever turns yer crank:eek:fftheair:

That's not relevant, I'm not talking about all Christians or even talking about religion but these whacko's who still think they're living in the 17th century and believe witches are among them and should be burned at the stake.

Ummmmmm..... witches are among them.

Not necessarily.... like gerry said, it hasn't even been reported to the police. For all you know, these two are simply making **** up to drum up business. Have you ever bothered to read the publication this story is coming from? It's essentially the National Enquirer.
No point in getting worked up over a maybe.

Even today, I have yet to hear of the Atheist Council for the Betterment of Mankind..........atheists are too damn busy studying their own navels in orgies of narcissism.........and/or misanthropy.

Nobody told me there were orgies, I've been missing out.

There were two things I was sure would come up in this thread; this was one of them. The other may take a bit longer to show up, but it's not long once this cat is out of the bag.

There must be an appropriate Monty Python sketch to satirize the inevitabilities of threads like this...

Good point
I thought it was too bizarre to be true.

Because they haven't called the police doesn't make this story false. Perhaps they don't feel their lives are in immediate danger.. What could police do anyways about idiots urinating on windows and piles of wood stacked against their doors.. they need to catch them in the act...

Having your windows urinated on and wood stacks being put against your door and having slogans yelled at you isn't exactly life threatening and when it's been happening for 15 months as they claim in the story you kind of take it less seriously as a threat to you life... and again Police couldn't do much about these things anyways...

That is true
Maybe they weren't taking it as life threatening, which could be why they didn't bother to call police, or the story is just a fabrication.

Really? How do you come up with this when just a few messages ago you were calling for the death or at least the imprisonment and experimentation of these Christians?

Kinda shows that there is a serious problem with labeling people. Obviously (if this story is true) the people "threatening" these so called witches are fanatics but certainly not Christian as Christ would never condone such behaviour. I don't subscribe to the SJP stance that anyone who professes to be Christian is one.To me, a real Christian behaves in a Christ like manner. These people obviously are not.

After the first incident why didn't they bother to splurge the $75 for a nightvision camera? It would lower their insurance to boot.

True, if they were serious about catching these perpetrators, investing a little money for some extra security would be the first thing you'd think to do.

Bingo.... Sorta my point. If they (they being "furious Christians") were so easily worked up over a Pagan shop, one might wonder how Stonehenge hasn't been reduced to a picnic ground long ago....
