French leader has arrived ,..and more to follow.

The QUESTION is : Will the US leader arrive or will he find an excuse. to avoid it??

Any bets??

He could well be the skunk in the group....... , and we all know he can't handle anything negative or anyone questioning him or his decisions. He has managed to pizz off the entire group and more.and isolated himself and the US.

this would be Trump's first time to DCA as leader of the US.......and it is questionable if he will show up. He does not like multinational meetings......preferring bilateral talks......

His NK (KIM) meetup might take precedence as it is a lot more dramatic , with world wide attention.

I've been wondering when someone will finally clue in and realize maybe it's high time Trump started being listened to. So far from what I can gather he has done nothing but listen to wishes of the U.S. citizens. Does anyone understand what his concerns are? I doubt it, as no seems to be willing to listen. From what I can gather it seems the media and the rest of the G7 participants think that Trump was the bad boy! From what I can tell, that is utter bull shit. Trudeau has proven himself over and over to be a first class hypocrite. He has made it abundantly clear that when dealing with Trump he's not willing to back down one iota. What did he do to make Trump feel welcome when he arrived, albeit late in some folks' opinion? If he were to have used any psychology at all he'd have asked Trump what it is he wants. I think Trump is only trying to secure for his people what Trudeau is trying to secure for his. Trudeau being the host clearly 'dropped the ball, on this one.

The working class in the US has been screwed by everyone for 40 years now, world media included.

Tater may not back down, because it is Canadians who are going to pay for it.

Good thing that you're not in power. Run up the white flag and surrender to the clown, eh?

Be sure to cry extra loud about all the crap that will go up 15-20%.
Because the middlemen will seize the chance for a few extra points for themselves.
Remember, you supported it.

Be sure to whine extra hard about the job losses this idiocy will create.
Remember, you supported it.

And all of it for no reason at all.

Trump is a self absorbed, whiny idiot too ignorant to listen to anybody but his demented, childish mind. He is is going to isolate Yankeeland from the rest of the world with his stupid stunts. Nobody should listen to the rantings of this phuking lunatic. Justin is doing the best he can to protect Canadian interests and you have nothing but shit to throw at him. I really don't get your position at all. It makes no logical sense.

That opinion (and the clown stating it) just reinforces the fact that I was perfectly correct in my post.

Pay pay pay, and pay some more.

No one in this country will have jobs because by hook or crook, we are completely dialed into the US.

You can stand up, and pay.

And then pay.

And pay some more.

All of this could have been avoided without any trouble, and we could even have come out ahead.

Instead, we gonna pay.

So shut up and and pay.

...always the irrelevant deflection from pigs ...

Obama was born in 1961. He was not drafted into the US services as the war ended when he was 13. Trump, who attended military school for years before (was a Captain in the cadets)was drafted but buggered off when his training and preparation was required by his country.

A deflection much like Trump's lack of participation in the military, or is it only those that were drafted that counted?

There was an 2018 SCO meeting this week which the G-6 Plus 1 may want to attend next year.

We should reject selfish, short-sighted, narrow and closed-off policies. We must maintain the rules of the World Trade Organization, support the multilateral trade system and build an open global economy.

And, I would not want to leave the impression that I am pro-free trade. I am not, because countries are allowed to manipulate their currencies or devaluate their currency in order to compete.

Of course there is no way Trump could have sat through the climate change part of the meeting.

He would have to listen to all that fake news.
