Trucker Blockade Caused Lasting Psychological Damage to Canadians

Two points to make on that one, first I suspect a lot of it has more to do with those on the backs of truckers. While the term "arson" isn't actually correct in this case, people packing Jerry cans of gas and diesel in a riotous situation could lead to something almost as deadly as arson, besides the fact it's just plain stupid!
How, in February in Canada, in diesel fuelled trucks with diesel fuelled Webasto or ProHeat heaters, where they suppose to not freeze? Keep in mind that these trucks are their homes also.
If they where allowed to simply drive to a truck stop to fuel up, don’t you think they would have? It would have been much more convenient & much less labour intensive than humping in Jerry Cans at all.
Which reporter(s) specifically? Corporations don't normally lie, people can and do!
I hold Trudeau mostly to blame for this fiasco! As I've said before, if he had half a brain he'd have secured a large secure compound area several miles from the legislature and provided buses for the truckers to travel back and forth to protest. I'd be willing to bet that would have saved lots of money, including the money spent on extra policing and laying charges!
It's gotten to the point JLM that people no longer trust the so-called "experts" because they keep changing their minds usually for political reasons not for their expertise. Until politics are taken out of the "medical & scientific" arenas, there will continue to be issues. Climate change is a perfect example - why aren't the so-called Scientists saying anything about climate change has always taken place? It's ridiculous to say that the climate is changing due to "something" that people may have caused - they haven't even concluded that we are actually the cause. The very fact that they will not debate people who don't agree tells me they're lying and simply want to control the population - period.
Insofar as the freedom convoy, they did what they came out to do - make it clear to politicians (even if the politicians are in denial) that Canadians will put up with only so much and they have put up with a lot but it has to end and the sooner the better. Freedom isn't free. So it may have been a waste as far as you are concerned but obviously it was important to a lot of people to, at least, understand that not everyone is happy. Leaders need to lead, not hide in some other "universe" and ignore their constituents. The convoy would NEVER have been there as long as they were if only we had Leaders who are willing to listen. So far, we don't have the Leaders we desperately need.
I don't see a lot wrong with doctors or politicians changing their minds AS LONG AS it is based on a changed situation OR more knowledge coming to light!
