Seriously dude? Seriously? Has the entire world gone completely nucking futz? The man couldn't even close the border without being called a racist and a dictator. Congress refused to close the border and if Trump had gone all EO about it, people like you would have called him a racist and a dictator. Meanwhile, of the top 6 states with the highest Covid death toll, 5 of 'em are Democrat controlled. I mean I find it hard to blame Trump for the actions of ol' Grave Digger Cuomo for example.

I'd still give O'Toole a chance as he has a more varied background & hopefully, he'd be better at the job than the current PM. Couldn't be worse, that's for sure!
Well, A friend of mine is one of the secretaries in a conservative federal politician's office and she is terrified for the future of the country. She was saying that her fellow employees there are all trump haters and they love Biden. It freaks her out that for the most part they don't want to entertain any facts at all that are not in support of the typical narrative.
It's interesting that Mr. O'Toole looks to be taking the Conservative Party a few steps to the left in the public eye. The damage Trump did to the reputation of right wing politics is obvious, as are the failings of a capitalist system that has strayed so far right as to alienate the voters that they need to put them in office. he might be the "new face" that the Conservatives need to put them back in the game. Listen to him voice concerns in this speech that south of the border would brand him as a radical leftie:

More like much of society has drifted so far to the left that Trump's attempt to get them back to reality made him look right wing.
public sector jobs and pensions are all we know how to do. gone are the days of entrepreneurship and risk taking.
reflected in the national debt. worst thing is they treat the people like fools and think they above being held accountable.
absolute worst is that they get away with it.
Their getting away with it is our fault. Unfortunately so few of us seem to care that nothing gets fixed.
Nope he is taking the party to the left to appeal to disgruntled liberals . Sadly for him that never works .
