As usual, it seems that there can't be any confirmation as the Washington Post readily admits the information came or was verified by "two former officials." If they are "former officials" then they weren't in the meeting so how would they know? Oh, the meeting must have been with a Russian so that must be what happened, I suppose.
Ya know, Trump is an idiot but seriously? How often have these "anonymous" leaks have been found to be false. But the papers continue to print it anyway. I guess the sooner they can push their agenda to impeach Trump the better and I'll admit it'll likely be better for the country. But it's no wonder most people don't trust the media because of crap like this.
If they're going to report something, base it on facts, provide the proof so that the public can actually make a sound decision one way or the other. Trump may be an a$$ but the media certainly isn't much better in my humble opinion.

The advantage rests with the NK who know what will happen if they give up thier nukes never mind the constant threats from Trump and company. Kim has already talked to the SK , I think he,s whispering reconciliation in thier ears as he knows they,re tired of American occupation as do the numerous other nations overridden and looted by the American Empire. I think you,re confused about who,s in that death spiral you mentioned. There is no way to correct that American spiral except a reengagement of people power.
While I don't trust the media, Trump really, really needs to get pushed out of office and the Republicans need to tell from the top of their lungs that he's not one of them, never was and never will be and find someone who can repair the damage.
Trump is proof of what can happen when voters become apathetic. The wingnuts were able to get their agenda to the fore. Fortunately most, if not all can be undone in 2020. The main concern now is whether or not the voters will be reactionary and vote in an Oprah. Let's hope not.
Sadly it's beginning to look that way. I just wish he'd start keeping his mouth shut and continue with doing what he said he was going to do at the get go!
