Why did they oppose Bush in the first place? Once a Democrat took over and continued the worst of Bush's policies what ground did they have to stand on? Torture? Obama let him get away with it. Mass surveillance? Obama legalized it. War? Obama expanded it. And when it was time to pick a new Democrat they chose a candidate who voted for the Iraq war. In time liberals will always conform.
