In sparring with a grieving widow, Trump follows his no-apology playbook

https://www.washingtonpost.com/?wpisrc=nl_evening&wpmm=1

When he blows something this basic , so badly........how can anyone rely on him to make quality judgments on major issue??

When the bully POTUS has to have the last word after starting a mess with a grieving widow........that is not only bottom feeder level......it is down in the gutter.

When he LIES about what he said and blames her........when she had witnesses.........more gutter level conduct.

Actually any "apology" from him would not have any merit anyhow.

His negotiating skills are now being questioned. and rightly so........as they don't exist. He does not negotiate ....he demands and threatens and bribes. He is a bully and a scrapper ......and THOSE are his "negotiating " skills.

He might at one time actually been able to make deals and negotiate deals..........but what we see now does not pass as either.

He is a total embarrassment. who thrives on childish chaos. That is not leadership.

The ONE thing he seems to relish in his job is the ceremonial aspect / and activities.......He loves pomp and circumstance with HIM in the center.

Yes... all that might sound negative........but it is hard to find anything really positive about his words, attitude and actions. He MIGHT have potential.......but he continuously does it to himself with his personal compulsions. (like having to have the last word.....even if he is WRONG........and even if if is with a recent widow who's husband died in combat..

Narcissism and power make a problematic combination.

Lawmakers question Trump’s dealmaking skills, say he’s an unreliable negotiator

Still relying on the Washington Post I see , haven't they let you down enough ?

And a jug of whine.

I read in the Bingo News, a weekly paper that no longer has a crossword in it (Thanks President Trump  ) that there are 14 different ways to recycle used coffee grounds. I bet Trump doesn't recycle coffee grounds!

If that's the case then he is DIRECTLY RESPONSIBLE for destroying the planet!

That, my friends, was printed in the Bingo News. I rest my case, even though it wasn't particularly tired or even slightly winded.

I'm glad you finally got in to see your doctor, Wolfy. Did he up your dosage of Lorazipam?

I hear that Trump wants to end world hunger by feeding all the native people to starving nations.

Soylent green is people. But not real green people, that's cruel.

Sen. Flake: To stay silent is "profoundly misguided"

https://www.axios.com/sen-flake-to-...-misguided-2500946839.html?utm_source=sidebar

A wonderful, eloquent peach that portrayed the current situation in Washington very accurate

Profound. A republican one can respect. Principles of America and its foundation are more important than the current TRIBAL politics

Meanwhile the Tribal group of Trump is cheering.......as they see this as a win for them. (but is it a win for AMERICA??

The Republican "civil? *UNCIVIL war continues.

His supporters still have no clue that being a idiotic insane BULLY is NOT being STRONG. It is just juvenile , dysfunctional bullying.

Corker is speaking in the same vein.

The question is: will sanity and RATIONAL thinking like we have heard from them both over rule the current insanity and destructive tribalism.??

Americ a could be at a serious cross roads now. If the bullies take over completely........

the world of America might deepen nto the steve banner style of vernacular and attitude...: He considers this just another "scalp" for tump.

SCALP???? what throwback to a much more primitive era.

President meets with Republicans as Corker slams him for ‘untruths’

https://www.washingtonpost.com/?wpisrc=nl_evening&wpmm=1

At least Three republicans have the guts to stand up and speak the truths about how low and petty and tribal the Trump regime has gone.trump has brought all this upon himself. and if it is by DESIGN......then US politics have hit the lowest standard ever where infighting, Twitter frighting and destructiveness is the order of the day.

Corker and Flake are spot on........when they say this is NOT the new normal.........as there is nothing remotely normal about this. Particularity when the top guy is abnormal (psychologically impaired) in his needs. and priorities.

WRING personality for the job.

The pathos is deep and metastasizing now

The trump supporters are complicit in having their nation deteriorate at the hands of this pathological liar.

Instead of bring out the best in others.......Trump brings out the worst........and we are seeing all kinds of dysfunctional groups emerge as a result of his rhetoric.

/will other republican start to stand up for THEIR TRUE VALUES and AMERICAN TRUE values and denounce the Trump conduct and incompetency??

It's a start. Now, if you could use a cite from a reputable agency, you'd have a shot at being credible, and not just a hater.

Do you think that Trump's "GodFather" (mafia) approach to leadership is going to do America good??

Trump will be replace the two departing members with Trump devotees. ( those that will profess LOYALTY to Trump..........not to the country. or the constitution. Trump's demand of LOYALTY is extreme........and it is only ONE way. He wants those around him to be "yes people " and to mirror him in word and deed.

If a democratic leader was doing one quarter of what Trump has done......the outcry would be incredible. Funny how lying so blatantly is fine with the trump supporters and yet a despicable quality in democrats. Go figure.

The difference between the Mafia and Trump is that Trump doesn't care where the bodies are disposed. The more public the humiliation the better as far as Trump is concerned.

The world leaders dont believe Trump or trust him. and that is going to bite him in his fat butt. (Not that he gives a damn. He will just scrap via twitter with anyone ......except those that are yes people to him. Until he turns on them too)

Murph's still mad at the Post for bringing down Nixon.

Nah, Nixon caused his own trouble. Dick's stupidity made the careers of a couple of guys who, because of his sloppy, irresponsible style of management, might have otherwise gone on into reporter's heaven in obscurity.

Here, former president Nixon ponders the menu at a local Chinese takeout.
