In sparring with a grieving widow, Trump follows his no-apology playbook

https://www.washingtonpost.com/?wpisrc=nl_evening&wpmm=1

When he blows something this basic , so badly........how can anyone rely on him to make quality judgments on major issue??

When the bully POTUS has to have the last word after starting a mess with a grieving widow........that is not only bottom feeder level......it is down in the gutter.

When he LIES about what he said and blames her........when she had witnesses.........more gutter level conduct.

Actually any "apology" from him would not have any merit anyhow.

His negotiating skills are now being questioned. and rightly so........as they don't exist. He does not negotiate ....he demands and threatens and bribes. He is a bully and a scrapper ......and THOSE are his "negotiating " skills.

He might at one time actually been able to make deals and negotiate deals..........but what we see now does not pass as either.

He is a total embarrassment. who thrives on childish chaos. That is not leadership.

The ONE thing he seems to relish in his job is the ceremonial aspect / and activities.......He loves pomp and circumstance with HIM in the center.

Yes... all that might sound negative........but it is hard to find anything really positive about his words, attitude and actions. He MIGHT have potential.......but he continuously does it to himself with his personal compulsions. (like having to have the last word.....even if he is WRONG........and even if if is with a recent widow who's husband died in combat..

Narcissism and power make a problematic combination.

Lawmakers question Trump’s dealmaking skills, say he’s an unreliable negotiator

So far as I know with the exception of Nixon all former presidents actually waited until their term in office was over. You can correct me if you have proof to the contrary. Trump is raking in the millions now in a clear conflict of interest.

You figure old Warren Harding was squeaky clean?

It just shows what steep decline the Republic is in. This monster has hijacked an election and now they can't get rid of him. This will not end well.
Started pretty good, though. My portfolio is going gang busters.

It doesn't. The legal bills of White House staffers, and other government personnel, are not paid by the government.

taxslave is just being taxslave.

Here any government employees that run into legal problems have all their legal bills paid by the taxpayer. I was working on the perhaps faulty assumption that your country was this far advanced. Perhaps not.

As we say in Oklahoma, "Well there's your problem right there!"

That you consider it "advanced" for the government to fund the defenses of government officials for their crimes gave me a much-needed chuckle. Thanks.

Canadian governments have legislated non-accountability clauses. It is almost impossible to sue a government employee.
