I haven't heard much from Ron Reagan Jr. since his commercial in support of the American Atheists organization, founded by Madalyn Murray O’Hair.. famous for getting prayer banned from American schools and later murdered by a disgruntled employee.

"Ron Reagan, lifelong atheist, Not afraid of Burning in Hell" he stated. Well i wonder where Madalyn is today and whether she'd still agree.

Actually Ron's father and namesake was largely responsible for the Trump phenomenon by way of his catastrophic policies of free trade, monetarism, financial deregulation, privatization, regressive taxation, global imperialism that has taken America to the brink of economic and social dissolution.. although in honesty they were entrenched and aggravated by every U.S. President since until Trump.

Trump is a buffoon. It is his millions of ignorant supporters that are dangerous. They all seem to incapable of critical thinking and many incapable of thought.

That's what they want you to believe , and you do . Lead along by the nose like a good little dog .
The only ones the "believe anything that Trump says , and continue to defend him so savagely...........are the Trumpophepheles themselves. They have bought into his crap so completely they can't see the trees for the forest. They resort to threats to anyone that speaks the TRUTH and FACTS about Trump.........as belligerence is all they know. Now they have a leader who speaks the same way and has the same bully attitude.

Moe important: with all this defense of him...........WHAT has he REALLY achieved in almost a YEAR in office?? (besides antagonizing just about everyone on the planet?? He has no strategy......he is "winging' it......and being very selective in a negative way as to what he responds to He is a master conman...who knows exactly which "patriotic" buttons to push........and America is a fanatical flag waving patriotic , militant nation if it is anything. There will be no going back now......America has changed. It's so called 'values have transformed into something more native and primitive. That is their choice..... and it might be ok if it retreats into itself with its protectionism.

Have you actually sat back and had a look at what he is doing and how he is accomplishing it, or is your hatred blinding you. He is playing the progressives like a fiddle and if you actually sit down and see what he is up to instead of flying off the handle on what he says or gestures, he seems like a bumbling idiot but when you recognize the pattern he is quite methodical. Let's take the NFL thingy for an example, you think he actually cares that players kneel during the anthem? Maybe a little, but the results are bringing in patriotism to the country, solidifying his vote with all servicemen including police, and veterans by instilling confidence and pride for them. By making Liberals chase after the shining thing in one hand behind the scenes he is accomplishing his goals, getting rid of regulations that are handcuffing industry, got his immigration ban in place and not only that but expanded it to include 3 more countries, and industry is responding to the positive GDP is growing.

Like man others.....I can see eexactly what he is doing and how he is doing it.

He is the master manipulator and yes he is playing MANY like a 'fiddle". Not just progressives. He is playing the Republicans as well. Healso bullys those that he does not like or have offended his fargile ego until they leave .

The issue is his motives.......and who's best interest he has at the heart of his actions.? He gets a lot of secondary gain when something works in his favor. His staff are AFRAID to speak against him........let alone critique him.......even when he is a horses ass. They will either be fired, or bashed on Twitter until they quit.........so they become the 'enablers". of his pathology and dysfunction. (as are his supporters...... It is very reasonable to support ones favored candidate etc.......that is not the issue.......the issue is being blind to all the obvious defects........like incompetence One should not confuse his manipulative tactics for "cleverness". His level of conceptualization is not very high. Most folks on this form have a higher and more sophisticated level of conceptualization and thought processes. He is not interested in SUBSTANCE....... only record breaking numbers and ratings. But enough like that to have make him POTUS.

"we will see what happens " is NOT a policy statement. It is merely a cliche and an evasive tactic.

on a positive note:he is a fantastic subject for psychological research.;-) Just sayin'

The process (effective ) is important.......as the results (or lack of ) speak for themselves. Results are not necessarily based on money........but that is the strong theme in the U.S.Results that have a large humanitarian component are preferable. or a balanced approach.

From my seat and looking up from my popcorn bowl I see IMO his prime focus is to kick start the economy back to Reagan's levels, and if he can accomplish that feat he will even help us here in Canada. A rockin U.S. economy is good for all North America, so I say give him a chance and if he comes close, not many will care what he does and he will get rewarded with another 4 years.

I bet they all work too.

Lowering business taxes gets some of those offshore suppliers and manufacturing expats back to the US where they belong.

The idea of moving manufacturing to 3rd world countries to up their prosperity isn't working.

Call center workers in India and the Philippines will work long enough to buy a ticket to come here.

When you have heavy hitters like banks, airlines, cellular companies etc on your resume and speak excellent English you are golden.

Nobody "wants" me to believe it. It's self evident. Only simpletons can look at the Trump presidency and not see an epic shyte show. Trump has managed to make an intellectual lightweight like Trudeau look good and that's tough to do

Agree with the essence of your comment. The thing is he HAS is chance. NOW. He has been at it for almost a year. One of the issues for YT is that he should be a bit more explicit on what he is focused on and stick to it , rather than playing his childish Twitter distraction and angry war games.

for eg: there is no need for him to bash Wilson in Texas the immature way that he did . Now she is receiving death threats and requiring extra security. Assuming that these death threats come from his supporters......well it goes to the character of the supporters and hither leader. This is an example o f how he provokes violence. Thee is simply NO need for him to be such a bully.........and yet that is where he goes each chance he gets.

Another exampole of his lack of integrey: He says all the ladies who accues him osf sexual advances (inapporpraite) are lyhing. ALLof them?? Get real. Pathologicalliar.

Now he is after Hillary again.........even though he won. He just can't let it go until he has destroyed the person he has targeted.

Give him a chance for what?? destroy even-more people.? He HAS A CHANCE by VIRTUE F THE FACT HE IS in office. He But that is not enough........ He is so threatened by smart and competent WOMEN who have "insulted " him........that his compulsion for revenge is brutal. Yet look at how he verbally treats them...

Why Hillary now?? Shouldn't he be working at getting things done?? We know why. To get the heat off the investigation about him

It is ALWAYS about HIM........and his supporters just love that.

Yep. He epitomizes their sense of hard-done-by.

Yeah, all those laid off foundry workers in Rustbucket, Indiana have been convinced by Trumpadistas that they no longer make sand cast engine parts out of pig iron (in this world of aluminium alloys and automatic machining centres) because foreigners STOLE those jobs away.

Under Trump, Made in America Is Losing Out to Russian Steel

Four days after his inauguration, Donald Trump signed a handful of executive memos to advance the Keystone XL pipeline and revive the U.S. steel industry. He invited builder TransCanada Corp. to reapply for a permit denied by Barack Obama and ordered up fast-track rules forcing not only Keystone but also all new U.S. pipelines to be made from American steel. “From now on, we’re going to be making pipeline in the United States,” he said.

Made-in-America Keystone was a stunt. Most of its pipes had already been manufactured, a fact the White House grudgingly admitted when it exempted the project from any new Buy American rules a few months later. While some of Keystone’s pipes were made in the U.S., at least a quarter of them came from a Russian steel company whose biggest shareholder is an oligarch and Trump family friend. The company, Evraz North America, supplied Keystone from its steel plants in Canada and for years has lobbied in Washington against Trump-style protectionism.

Ten months after his Keystone event, Trump has yet to deliver on his pledge to boost the fortunes of American steel. Two self-imposed deadlines for trade action, one in June and one in July, have come and gone. Meanwhile, the prospect of tariffs has led to a surge of cheap foreign steel into the U.S., with imports rising 24 percent in 2017, the fastest increase in years.
