I have an intellectual property clause in my present contract.

The company I work for, owns everything I think up.

Trudeau has me muzzled. I'd love to talk about this project and who they are and how it's a massive benefit for Canada and the nation involved.

I'll say this though. Business and trade deals were made long before the TPP was signed and Libs !00% endose the TPP.

No more potash plants, nobody wants to import it, now hang up the phone.

I work for a company that has an IP department and we have just over 100 patents, so I understand how IP and patents work. I'm just not clear how it relates to gov't scientists. Because the gov't is the people of Canada.

I'm giggling at your last sentence "the company I work for, owns everything I think up". I know you have a bit of a perverted mind, good thing they can't own everything you think, eh? The HR department would implode! lol.

I rest my case.

So you called me dumb for not knowing your own opinion on Harper's marijuana stance (how much of an egotistical douchbag are you?) which again is a deflection from the actual topic , where you wanted "scientific proof" of Harper's disregard for scientists. whatever the **** that is.. But I proved from a video of the horses' *** itself, where he blatant disregards scientific evidence on the affects of marijuana..

You were proven wrong, after your deflection I asked if you even had a point anymore, and you said "I rest my case". There are many things you can feign, winning an argument isn't one of them. Not when your actual text is here for all to see.

Q: How do you think the relationship between science and the government is going to change now that the Conservatives are out?

A: Well it couldn't get much worse, so I think it will improve. A lot of us are very relieved that the Conservative government is gone, because it was a very difficult time, especially for federal scientists. I worked with Environment Canada scientists on a daily basis. [There] was very, very low morale and a lot of people weren't very happy. And so I think it can only improve, and I hope it improves quickly and by leaps and bounds.

The one I remember was a scientist that moved from ON to FL so he could continue cancer research.
Harpy did cut R&D by quite a bit.
And the muzzling thing was not so important considering the press, but scientists were not allowed to collaborate with scientists from other countries in their fields of research. THAT was sheer stupidity, IMO.
IP? Really? What were scientists sharing with scientists that was so secret and were not sharing before Harpy?
The muzzling reduced scientific collaboration down to 36%. And the cuts mostly affected research into crude oil/the oil sands extraction and whatnot and atmospheric/ice/pollution research but also affected cancer research, oceans research, and others.
Harpy did not get around to burning books and stuff, though. Maybe that would have been too big of a task.

Sounds like all scientists agree that climate change IS an issue, just not what's causing it. At the end of the day, since we can't control the things that humans haven't done, but we can control the things we are doing that we KNOW contribute, doesn't that mean we should control what we can control?

IF we can control 50% shouldn't we?

Again, though seems that they all agree there IS climate change though.

So how many bank transfers will it take?

just because I like a shade of blue, does not mean I like all shades of blue.

Is that a distinction you can understand? Or are you a strict "everything or nothing" person?

Where can I find all the info that the scientists are now allowed to convey to the public?

I was just asking a question. Its all about money so how many electronic bank transfers to the UN Climate Fund will it take to stop the climate from ever changing?

Where are the scientists knocking down the doors of journalists wanting to spill their (the sceintists) guts from all this pent-up news they've been withholding?
