I assume you posted his speech and never really listened to it!!. You might think about the fact that every 3 hours in the US, I child looses it's life to a gun that is not regulated.......not by a criminal or someone who has mental problems but by carelessness on the part of those who own a gun without even a smidgen of common sense. Those are the people who screamed about their constitutional rights before hand. I wonder how they feel afterwards, when they have removed their child's right to grow up??.

The only way to stop the carnage is proper gun laws ......controlling who can buy one and controlling sellers to those who will check up on backgrounds for criminal activity and mental illness. If England, Canada, Switzerland, Australia, New Zealand, etc. etc. etc. were able to do it, the most powerful nation on earth can surely do it.

I don't know how many times it has to be said for it to sink into some peoples' thick skulls. Guns are NOT a problem, any more than knives, bludgeons or vehicles are a problem, they are as useless as a stick of dynamite without a blasting cap. Get the nut cases behind bars and there will be very few problems.

People in the US don't care, Sandy Hook and every shooting since has proven that. Their guns matter more than the rights of others to even exist even if guns have done SFA to keep people 'safe'.
It's hard to prove a negative. How many lives were saved in TX when the two Islamists were gunned down at the cartoon drawing conference?

“Republican” and his interests as “killing zombies,” meditation, the occult and punk-rock music."
Read more at Oregon shooter ‘into occult, wiccan’

"killing zombies"
the american fascination with killing unarmed slow moving targets with no criminal repercussions
well go figure: good guess on my part
looks like yet another case of unnessessary surgery for sure

I was thinking more along the lines of accidental gun shot wounds. Not everybody is a Rhodes scholar like you, ya know.

During 1993--1998, an estimated average of 115,000 firearm-related injuries (including 35,200 fatal and 79,400 nonfatal injuries) occurred annually in the United States.

nothing like liars & stats....but at least they tride somthing, which is better than nothing, but hars reality is the dissafected who are doing the shooting...whay are they dissaffected, their will be many reasons for that..can asure you.from somone who was never told no in their life, to somone who wants his 15 miniutes of fame to somone whos been pushed into a corner...yep many in that picture, can you spot yourself....so no finger pointing, can happen to anyone....getting single payer heathcare in usa would be step in right direction as getting help for mental problems costs stop many...in canada & usa...but in canada their is a provincial heathcare sysytem, thats not costing you money out of pocket..in usa...money up front....

Why because I don't care?

If you are selfish enough to do something like that, then you get zero sympathy from me. It was your choice and your actions which at all times were in your control.

If you're that depressed seek professional help.

Sometimes it's not a case of selfishness. Sometimes it's just the ONLY way they can see out of a hopeless situation and besides that their mind isn't functional. They need help when they can't see help coming. They may have been "beaten down" a thousand times & just don't have the strength left to carry on. Mental illness is a terrible disease and too many people don't understand it. If you can't do anything to help keep your mouth shut.

...the real victims are those we leave behind.

lol @ suicide defenders. The majority of individuals who commit suicide do not have a diagnosable mental illness. Studies show those who have failed a suicide attempt regret trying in the first place. Have fun in hell emos.

Mental illness is all in your head.
