I have no problem with hunting and fishing for food. I did it for years. We are talking about trophy hunting. Are you that stupid that you don't know the difference?
Why is Africa our problem? Seems to me they are having more kids than their ecosystem can support. Starvation is unfortunately the natural consequence of such. If you want to use your own money to help, call Sally Struthers. But it should be an individual choice not a government policy of a government over here.
Have you not heard that we live in a global community, that we are all in this together? Canada and all the other imaginary boundaries are meaningless concepts. You cannot see the imaginary lines from space. All humans are brother and sisters of the same mother, the biosphere that supports all life on this planet and we in the west are destroying that biosphere at an astounding rate.
The Universe is is so many billions of years old. If we break it down to one hour, we have only been here for one minute. The industrial revolution happened 1 second ago. In that time we have destroyed nearly 50% of all wildlife, cut down most of the old growth forests, mining has torn up vast swaths of the earth, harvested vast amounts of sea life, trashed the atmosphere, buried vast area of the earth under cities and golf courses.... We are not separate from the biosphere or any of the other life forms. We are part of it and what we do to it, we do to ourselves.
I really have given up caring if humanity survives its own stupidity but I am concerned about the rest of the life forms that we are taking with us in this race to self destruction.
