everyone should get their day in court. if your day involves theft and violence while protesting, good luck with that.

It all works a lot better if you don't get disabled in a stupid on-the-job accident. That can happen to anyone - no matter how great you think you are.

What's it got to do with respect for the law? It isn't law that screws you over. It's flavour-of-the-day government policies.
It's called natural selection.
And it happens mostly to those that don't take the time to think things out before doing.

Safety is not a accident, you work hard at achieving it.

As for flavour of the month politics, mother nature is much more cruel

That will give you something to think about (if it's possible) when it happens to you. My problem was in not having x-ray vision. You want a lesson in safety? Shut up and listen. I bet that's not possible either, goof

I can't disagree with that either...I find too far left to be flakey in the extreme

I think the middle is the place to aim for...
I agree.

Between Justin & Steve who is closes to the middle?

I'll give you a lesson in nature.
Natural selection may one day evolve humans to have x-Ray vision

I don't have x-Ray vision, but my ability to anticipate dangerous situation sure has helped me

As for giving me a lesson in safety, I'm not sure how you ending up being a crippled will teach me anything I don't already know.

Just this summer I saved 3 guys from being crushed by a falling 700 lb beam. The forman argued with my decision to add a safety brace. I told him I didn't care to save the 3 minute it took me to add a brace. He was upset with me defying him, but...
When the beam support got knocked out by accident. And the steel beam came falling down on them, my brace saved him, and the two others that where with him under it. He gave me a 500$ bonus. And thanked me for saving his life.

I have tons of stories like this one to tell of my 16 years accident free of construction industry experience. Want to listen to more?

I bet you don't.

I'm sure as hell not a goof to those 3 guys and there wife and kids.

To act like a hero all you're life won't guarantee that you will become a hero but it sure will help you're odds.

To act like a victim all you're life won't guarantee that you will become a victim but it sure will help you're odds.

Think about that.

I think you're attitude can make a lot of difference in you're life.

Don't be silly. Anybody that would suggest an injured worker has no lessons to be taught, clearly knows absolutely nothing about safety. Run along sonny.

Obviously you didn't understand what I said. It's a other deer lady moment , this time , brought to you by cannuck.

Deer lady's like you are a dime a dozen.

I never think about the law per se nor how it does or does not apply to me.

I just live my life.

When it comes to understanding, a brain comes in handy!:)
