It was Koran inspired.

Given that the shooters in both cases this week are dead, all that is left is speculation on their motives. The last guy was not exactly a model moslem (drinking and drug use tend to be frowned upon). The first guy became a moslem because his place got robbed and the police took too long to investigate. Doesn't sound like he was playing with all 52 cards in his deck.

I think the act was terrorist by nature but I am not convinced it was ISIS inspired. It was too low key and too much like a couple of loons (granted they were molsem loons) going off and snapping. So I would classify it as domestic terrorism like McFay in Oklahoma rather than foreign like 9/11. Thats my opinion with the facts that have come to light so far. That could change if more evidence comes to light.
Domestic terrorism doesn't need the killers to do training or visits overseas. (or have your passport yanked)
What facts?

Perhaps inspired was the wrong word. Organized. Who knows what gave these loons insparation.
I'm going out on a limb here, but I'd bet on the same marginalization that helps W.A.R. or the K.K.K. fill their ranks. Or any cult, for that matter.

Although I much prefer the skin head approach of defacing property and random racially motivated beatings,

With her support from 1% of the electorate I just can't see her being a huge threat.:)
And with what appeared to be a bumbling address, she came off more sincere and honest than JT.

I'd vote for her before I voted for JT.

Nor has enough time passed between the announcement of Canadian troops going over to the Mid-east to fight ISIS that it was not the 'tipping point'., the other mentioned groups are fully supported by NATO, that means Canada supports them to.

PressTV - ISIL terrorist leader is CIA agent: Chechen president

Ottawa Shooting Proves Failure of Double-Standard Anti-Terrorism Policies: Kremlin | World | RIA Novosti
SOCHI, October 23 (RIA Novosti) - The recent shooting in the Canadian capital could be proof that terrorism could not be fought with "double standard policies," head of the Kremlin staff, Sergei Ivanov, said Thursday.
"During the war in Chechnya we openly stressed that terrorism and extremism is not only the problem of Russia. Ten years have past since then, and what is happening today with extremism, including yesterday's events in Ottawa, in my opinion, is a clear proof of that," Ivanov told reporters.
"Terrorism could be fought effectively only in joint effort and without double standards," Ivanov stressed.

I remember when Canada used to be able to make independent statements like this.

The IDF should guard their training manuals better, a few seem to have escaped.

PressTV - Israeli soldiers? tactics similar to ISIL: Analyst
The Zionist soldiers and the ISIL militants are quite similar in their methods and tactics and their cruelty levels are the same, says an analyst.

Mateusz Piskorski, director of the European Centre of Geopolitical Analysis from Warsaw, said in an interview with Press TV that some methods and tactics of the Zionist soldiers and the ISIL militants are “quite similar.”
“Some methods and some tactics are quite similar… and the level of cruelty might even seem quite similar between the Zionist soldiers and the ISIL militants," the analyst stated.
The remarks came after Haneen Zoabi, an Israeli lawmaker said there is no difference between Israeli soldiers and militants of the ISIL and that both are “armies of murderers with no boundaries and red lines.”
The Arab member of the Israeli Knesset added that an Israeli pilot is no less a terrorist than a person who takes a knife and commits a beheading.
The comments caused an uproar across the Israeli political spectrum, with Likud MK Miri Regev calling Zoabi “a dangerous enemy of Israel who belongs in jail.”

It would appear several here have had the same training as they will certainly react just like the Israelis did.

Does the red mean that man shouldn't be hunted down bear?

4% last time around. About 8 the time before that. Still marginal, but as the NDP showed last time around big changes in that department could happen fast.

At any rate, they both did better than the heir apparent.

Not so sure he is the heir apparent at this point. He seems to slowly be digging his own political grave.
