I don't think his dad was ever scripted. I didn't like (hated more accurate) Pierre's politics but I respected him as a PM and a man. I don't respect Justine in either of those capacities.
Which media have you been watching? Both CBC and CTV made all the same mistakes as American media did in 9/11. False reports. Tonnes of talking heads.
And I think isolated or not, it is a wakeup call for what is coming. I think that the need for vigilance with ISIS has never been more clear even though they may not have been directly involved in the attacks this week.

You are absolutely correct. You need to ramp up your vigilance. What you don't need is a whole slue of new laws infringing your freedoms, Jersey barriers around all your public buildings, mountains of money spent on "security," and your cops turning into occupying soldiers.
