With minimal practice, a 5 round clip can swapped with very little effort. But I have to admit I do love hicap clips way better. 3 round bursts, put down range with a trained eye, are extremely affective.
I like going John Wayne with my 1894.

Being ex-AF, I generally prefer obliterating the area my target is in from several miles away (or up). Though I admit that'd be kinda counter-productive in this situation.

Not really. No one would much mind the elimination of several hundred politicians. And it is an old building tht is costing us tons of money to maintain. LOL

What is noticeable, which is something that was mentioned on the Sky News newspaper review last night, is that this story didn't even make the front page of a lot of British newspapers. It shows how little Canada is on Britain's radar, even after an event like this.

The Daily Mail's front page today is dominated by the allegations surrounding Fiona Woolf, the head of the Government's child abuse inquiry. The Daily Telegraph has a photo of the incident with just a little caption underneath, but the front page is dominated by Osborne's unwise plans to help mothers back into work (I believe they should be at home looking after the children) and that the NHS "needs £8bn extra". The Sun seems to be more interested in a cop killer who is being freed from prison after 48 years, but it does have a little front page snippet of the event in Canada. Meanewhile, The Daily Mirror doesn't mention the shooting in Canada at all on its front page, with its headline instead stating "NHS WILL PAY FAT PEOPLE TO LOSE WEIGHT." It also has a little headline about an Emmerdale star revealing that her marriage isn't legal. Meanwhile, The Daily Star seems less interested in the shooting in Canada that it is about "killer spiders", with its front page dominated by that topic, which it has been obsessing about for days. This time it's reporting that killer spiders are on the loose in the Big Brother house.

LOL based upon those headlines its safe to say you Brits are a f-u-c-k-ed up lot.

I see this as a lack of security in general around the parliament and Canada's major politicians.
This guy should not have gotten within five blocks of the parliament with what he was carrying and supposedly what his radical views and criminal record were.

And who is ultimately responsible for the security.
And who's going to see an increase in their manpower and massive militarization of their organization because of this.

I don't see this as a true terrorist attack like the news media and government officials are trying to push it as.

But more as a mentally disturbed manipulated religious zealot who is able to breach security that had more holes in it than Swiss cheese.
Much the same as our former prime minister's wife having to protect her husband with a butter knife in their own home because of security being asleep at the switch.

This should not have happened in this day and age. And sadly it will be used by politicians and the police take away even more civil rights of honest Canadians.

it was just lovely to see cbc break away and go to a reporter to tell us that shiny pony had laid a wreath all by himself this morning...broke away so hannah thibedeau could alert us to what trudeau had done for us...lovely.

He couldn't even co-ordinate a simple press conference/address last night. Even the CBC gave up on him. Muclair was ready as was Harper. Trudeau was nowhere to be found. May have been toking one and lost track of time perhaps?
