What is noticeable, which is something that was mentioned on the Sky News newspaper review last night, is that this story didn't even make the front page of a lot of British newspapers. It shows how little Canada is on Britain's radar, even after an event like this.

The Daily Mail's front page today is dominated by the allegations surrounding Fiona Woolf, the head of the Government's child abuse inquiry. The Daily Telegraph has a photo of the incident with just a little caption underneath, but the front page is dominated by Osborne's unwise plans to help mothers back into work (I believe they should be at home looking after the children) and that the NHS "needs £8bn extra". The Sun seems to be more interested in a cop killer who is being freed from prison after 48 years, but it does have a little front page snippet of the event in Canada. Meanewhile, The Daily Mirror doesn't mention the shooting in Canada at all on its front page, with its headline instead stating "NHS WILL PAY FAT PEOPLE TO LOSE WEIGHT." It also has a little headline about an Emmerdale star revealing that her marriage isn't legal. Meanwhile, The Daily Star seems less interested in the shooting in Canada that it is about "killer spiders", with its front page dominated by that topic, which it has been obsessing about for days. This time it's reporting that killer spiders are on the loose in the Big Brother house.

I know what you mean but in some circles that might be considered politically incorrect, but then again we are talking politics.:)

LOL, I think ya'll know by now I'm not a PC'er.. never will be.. and don't have any love for JT. At least it's easy to see where I stand..

If I had to plug my nose and vote Liberal, I would vote for Kathleen Wynne for PM.

Justin Trudeau has nothing to offer, he is arrogant, divisive, and is not experienced in politics. He would be the worst thing to happen to Canada right now. All he has going for him is his hair and nepotism.

LOL

Say has anyone given this a thought??

1. The shooter had lengthy criminal record
2. He was on probation

3. Where the FUKK did he get the gun, and I hope they charge the seller (unless he stole it).

You know I understand having a hand gun in Canada for self protection in your home or a rifle for hunting, but these semi-auto rifles that have now been used in a terrorist act and in Moncton, New Brunswick to kill 3 officers.

Why do we allow these deadly weapons in Canada..

Because they make excellent varmint weapons.

BTW: I can, in less than 24 hours, procure fully automatic weapons and enough ammo to start a small war.

That's the USA, 1st Amendment 2nd Amendment.

Personally, if you allow these guns to be purchased, then I think we need Concealed Carry in Canada to defend ourselves.

I have my Concealed Carry Permit in Texas.. I like Colorado's gun laws.. Open Carry.

I prefer Nekkid Carry. As long as the carrier is hot.

Actually we don't unless you are a collector. At one time they were restricted and registered but the Liberals made them prohibited and stole all the registered ones. What they did with them after the grand theft is anyones guess. They are not hard to get in other parts of the world and send here either.
