The current trend of the arrogant, holier-than-thou Hi Viz Lycra Brigade wearing video cameras on their helmets to film any motorists who they perceive to be breaking the rules of the road whilst, at the same time, they themselves continuously break the rules of the road for which they pay no taxes
I'm okay with it, I just don't like paying that amount for a load of crap that I don't like...why can't I just pay for basic cable plus the 10 channels that I like...right now cable is like Bell used to be...sucking us dry...TV pisses me off.
only if you have a camera implanted in your headCyclists don't pay taxes? Is there some kind of exemption?
TV pisses me off.

I lived without a telly for 3 years in my first marriage. She had a kid and we all did stuff together and it was nice.We have not had cable since 2006. We gave it up during the summer of that year and when fall came around, we realized we didn't need it. I hate commercials. And most of the shows I like, were not available through cable.
Now, when we visit friends or family that have cable, we can't watch. too many commercials, and they are soo dumb and insulting.
Don't think we'll ever have cable again.

when my tv broke one year I didn't replace it for a couple of years..I didn't miss it...I don't know, I'm contemplating letting it go because I don't watch regular tv very often...I watch the high channels like HBO...there are no commercials and it's not formatted TV...there's not much on I like...but I love my shows like Game of Thrones, and Nurse Jackie, and BoardWalk Empire and Walking Dead...I'm paying a lot of money for around 8 TV showsWe have not had cable since 2006. We entertained ourselves.
then the inlaws thought it perverse that the kid had no television and bought us one.
At first it was amusing then we all turned on one another and after two years it was all over.
very strange.
true dat.
I think television programming has a HUGE influence on people. People are told what to buy, what to wear, what to say, what to think by watching how "others" act on tv.
To be commercial free is liberating.
When you are having a discussion (argument) with someone and you eventually make a solid point to prove your position and your opponent then decides they don't want to discuss it anymore. (Anyone else ever have that happen)?![]()
