The federal govt. is afraid of creating martyrs. Uncle Sam should be afraid of folks who are willing to throw their flesh against federal steel.
I wonder if they will attempt to get their way another way (perhaps one that will fly under the media's radar)?
Maybe the federal govt. should just sue the rancher, recover a monetary judgment that bears interest, place a lien on the rancher's property, and wait for the time the rancher needs to clear up title for financing. That's a better course of action than using snipers to blow the rancher's brains out. Of course that presumes the federal govt. doesn't have an ulterior motive that is more time sensitive.
The rancher is providing an unpaid service and shouldn't be paying anything. His cattle are what feed that grassland. Without grazing cattle it would be dirt and 100% worthless and not worth preserving.
I dearly wish for a new constitution and system of govt. Not a new leader or new party under the current corrupt system but a new system where, as it is supposed to be, the people run and control the govt instead of govt controlling the people. We are long overdue and I would willingly partake in armed rebellion to bring about the changes in order to provide a better life for me and my kids. I would much prefer the change of power to happen peacefully but would fight if there was sufficient support. Clear enough for ya?

Really shows how stupid the feds are. WTF do they think that fence will accomplish? It isn't going to stop 5000 people moving past it if they really want and it isn't bullet-proof if the shooting starts. This is not a symbolic demonstration taking place but the beginning of an all out civil war. Their little fence is about as useful as t*ts on a nun under current circumstances.

The issue has been litigated in court, more than once, and Bundy has lost each time on the merits of his case. He is NOT ENTITLED to access to this land. It doesn't belong to him. In fact that land Belongs to ME and to every other citizen of the United States. That's MY Land that his cows have been grazing on for 20 years and he OWES ME and the rest of the American People for it.
Cliven Bundy is a God Damn [Corporate] Benefits Dead Beat and a THEIF. He's a Moocher! A Lazy Taker!. He should pay the frack up, or else face jail. If you have a FB account, consider attempting to post the link from YouTube and see for yourselves what happens. After you are told that it is blocked, there is a link to click if you think it was blocked in error. Wouldn't it be interesting if FB got an SDAvalanche of attempts and complaints about the censorship?
