Does he live in Canada?

He's lived in Canada throughout his adulthood and visited the UK only a few times afterwards. But still, his teeth would have been gone by adolescence had he not cleaned his teeth regularly I'm sure.

It's interesting though that Blackleaf chooses a Canadian forum to frequent.

He must like us. Well, welcome to virtual Canada Blackleaf.

If he does like us I'm bloody sure it's not because of me!

Its so nice to get up and label people first thing in the morning.
Cultured people don't tell the world they're cultured they just
are. Culture is a personal thing, and every cultured person has
a trace of barbarism too. I wouldn't think any one race is better
than the other, with the exception of Scott heritage which is mine
nothing like a bit of the haggis eh laddie? Give me a break.

I think he's VERY cultured...........................like an onion sandwich!

Not necessarily. I think being among the Canadians saved his teeth.

Much like a kid who builds a sand castle on the beach...only to have the wind, tide, and feet of others undo his work.... i.e BL's post here on CanCon.

Excessive bragging diminishes everything.

This is where he will say....

In 1604 Sir Thomas "The Excessive" Bragging was the first person to brag excessively.

He's telling the truth. I've watched a lot of 'How Clean is Your House', and Brits are very cultured. Staph, Candida, E.Coli, and a plethora of other highly cultural stuff.

In 1946 Sir Thomas "The Tank" Engine " was built...a tank engine who lived at a Big Station. He had six small wheels, a short stumpy funnel, a short stumpy boiler and a short stumpy dome. He was a fussy little engine, always pulling coaches about. [...] He was a cheeky little engine, too."

The Imperial War Museum and the British Museum are impressive. However, they are vestiges of a Britain that is dying.

The British Museum is full of artifacts that doesn't belong to Briton, they stole it from other countries under the guise that the rightful owners were savages and couldn't preserve them properly. That's just a taste of the benevolent British Empire.

I did watch a documentary of an Egyptian preserving an ancient bust. She pushed so hard she put her finger through the cheek. They said it would have taken another thousand years to cause that damage and she did it in a second.

But I agree... the remains and artifacts do belong to the host country and should be returned. We wouldn't want the Egyptians digging up George Washington to be displayed in Cairo.

Doesn't say that the rest of Europe is cultured- Just implies the UK is the best of the worst.
