Am I missing something here. You think a city or a state is liable because someone trips on a sidewalk or a step? Or are you saying the govt might be liable if there is a riot?

The only reason people think liability is such a big deal is because a bunch of money hungry people and their money hungry lawyers have convinced a bunch of moronic judges that people just cannot be responsible in any way for their own stupid! We have created a society of 'somebody has to pay' for any mistake I might make.

I think it is time to change this culture to one of personal responsibility. If someone jumps a fence and then hurts themselves they do not get to sue. If I beat the crap out of a burglar in my home he doesn't get to sue. If you trip over the friken sidewalk because your clumsy or stupid you don't get to sue.

The only way the liability game will ever stop is if sane and reasonable people stand up against the stupid and their cash-grabs.

Joke: Why don't snakes bite attorneys? ................ Professional courtesy.

The lawyers have changed our world, sometimes their motives are sincere and really want justice, it most cases they are just looking for money.

Far to many opportunities to play the litigation lottery.

We don't want justice, we want our clients to win. Seriously. It's in our code of ethics. The idea is that if lawyers zealously represent their clients, and a judge and/or jury makes the decision, the outcome will be somewhere in the neighbourhood of justice.

But the lawyers aren't responsible for producing justice. That's not our job.

Mid terms democrats
are waiting for the election. .

Everyone is.

And I am pretty sure you're going to be disappointed.

You really think the GOP is going to be swept from the House of Representatives? Of course you do because you really believe everyone loves Obamacare. It is a disaster.

The GOP should have let this matter of Obamacare run its course.

The Obama Administration defined in one single picture:

No, the Obama administration is defined by actually wanting to do something about the almost 50 million Americans who couldn't afford basic healthcare. Obamacare may have flaws but at least it's a start to a sane policy towards supplying something that most people in modern societies take for granted.

The closed US government defines how a minority of Americans still think they have the right to deny their fellow citizens any real chance of a quality future.

Where was all this self-righteous outrage when Bush/Cheney were acting as absolute monarchs starting wars without cause for profit and completely ignoring the constitution.

Obama hasn't started any new wars and he's avoided taking America into a brutal civil war in Syria. He's also begun talking to an old enemy in Iran that may make the entire world safer. Not liking him for his race is just wrong.

They are going to find they will still be paying an arm and a leg for it. And if they don't pay there will be enormous fines.

Hope and Change!

Putin prevented Obama from attacking. Obama has expanded (and increased the frequency of) drone strikes into other countries and did involve the US in the war on Libya. So you're wrong again.

Not liking him for his race is just wrong.

This could be a Social Engineering event. The nation may just run better without the government interference. Now wouldn't that be a hoot?

So far so good! Why do you think the Administration ran out the barricades to block walkways? They are blocking areas that are open 24/7 without any Rangers or Park Police.

You think the WWII Memorial/Vietnam Memorial is manned round the clock? Heck no. But they blocked them off regardless.

So bad people , with money, obviously know this, and the lawyer obviously knows this, so it's two negatives making a third negative which you view as positive. You peepeel real are freaks of nature, deniers of math and thus justice.

How come the ones running the Gov when it is open get to rob the taxpayers blind (and right in front of them) yet when they 'leave' the 'citizens' keep the place in pristine condition. They could at least bury it in foam or plastic so when the 'bosses' come back they have no offices to go to. The look on their faces would be almost priceless, I say almost cause that much foam must cost something, but still worth almost any price.

Of course nobody is asking anyone to burn down anything.

But tards are not able to think for themselves to begin with so I can see how this would make sense to them.

Now back to the topic of suing someone. I absolutely detest this part of society today. Somebody trips on a curb and thinks the city should pay them millions for not watching where they put their feet. If I were a judge these days I would be tossing most of these idiotic cases out and threatening to throw people in jail until they got the idea of personal responsibility.
You can detest it all you want but people suing other people in the US is a fact of life, it is done often. You don't hear so much about it here in Canada, but it is a constant in the US. Which is why national monuments and parks are closed down while the republicans play games with the American economy.

1. Do it only when I am on vacation next week.

2. I can't insure just the top floor? I would need a renter to rent that floor then you could do it and my part would be fixed and I would be rid of a bad renter. I will take him fishing this weekend, all weekend.

3. Those are one of a kind autos, no you cannot burn it down until I get some fakes moved in and then it has to be to the ground.

4. I don't have to, I'm the one wearing the hidden recording device.
