An "Islamic Patrol" is prowling the streets of the London Borough of Waltham Forest in north east London hunting down drinkers, immodestly dressed women and homosexuals:

Police are investigating reports a gang claiming to be Islamic vigilantes have been confronting members of the public and demanding they give up alcohol and women cover their flesh in their 'Muslim area'.
The hooded men, who call themselves Muslim Patrol, have been filmed walking London's streets and calling white women 'naked animals with no self respect.'
The group is also shown taking 'evil' booze from revellers and film a cyclist being treated after a road accident, claiming they were injured because they were unclean.
In one exchange a member of the group says: 'We don't care if you are appalled at all', before calling themselves 'vigilantes implementing Islam upon your own necks'.
Message: The speaker on the film says this person was injured because of their unclean life drinking alcohol
Taken: In another film they target posters they believe are immoral, ripping them down and spray-painting them
Burnt: The poster advertising a bra from H&M was then thrown on the ground and set alight
They have uploaded videos to their YouTube channel with the most recent three-minute clip causing a stir online.
'The Truth About Saturday Night', which was uploaded on Sunday, has already been viewed more than 42,000 times.
Scotland Yard says it is investigating.
It was shot on a mobile phone at night in what the Met say is Waltham Forest, London, with a number of men seen shouting 'this is a Muslim area' towards white Britons they've confronted.
The video, which first appeared on The Commentator, states: 'From women walking the street dressed like complete naked animals with no self respect, to drunk people carrying alcohol, to drunks being killed in the middle of the road, we try our best to capture and forbid it all.'
One scene shows the hooded yobs forcing a passing man to put a can of lager away, telling the stunned gentleman they are the Muslim Patrol and that alcohol is a 'forbidden evil'.
They then tell a group of women 'they need to forbid themselves from dressing like this and exposing themselves outside the mosque'.

Regarding the problem in the OP, the people in a community should have the freedom to decide the nature of their community. I'd support religious zealots banning alcohol and public nudity, provided a 2/3 majority of the community votes in favor of creating by-laws which zone their neighborhood as a distinct area which prohibits alcohol and nudity. The community would have to put up signs warning everyone about the neighborhood's distinct laws regulating behavior.
I'd also support a neighborhood going through the same procedure to zone an area for recreational drug use, prostitution, public nudity and intoxication.
If you don't like the by-laws... don't go there. If you live in this neighborhood and don't like the changes, then you'd be in the minority anyway. Maybe it would be a good time to move...

No I don't... I support the law. Read what I wrote. If the zealots want to create a distinct neighborhood which prohibits alcohol and nudity, then they should work through the system to zone their neighborhood as a distinct area which prohibits alcohol and nudity. If someone violates the law, then its up to the authorities to enforce it, not vigilantes.
I certainly don't support people imposing their viewpoints on others or lawless behavior.

Sure I'd support special red light buildings, districts or zones for prostitution as long as a 2/3 majority votes in favor of making the change. Ideally these prostitution allowed areas would be far away from residential neighborhoods.
BTW, I am against overtly promoting or glorify vices like prostitution. If people want to find trouble, they should have to look for it on the internet or in the yellow pages. I am against signs and billboards. You should be able to walk through these neighborhoods and not notice anything unusual until you go inside a building.
