Today In Nothing To Do With Islam: Danish Journalists attacked for reporting on Christmas tree controversy
A private donor may have stepped in to pay for the axed Christmas tree, but the controversy will continue as the board are now being accused of racism
The on-going controversy over the Christmas tree and the housing association in Kokkedal, a town north of Copenhagen, took another turn this weekend, when two journalists from TV2 News escaped unharmed after their van was attacked by 25 masked individuals.
The journalists had gone to the Egedalsvænget housing complex to report on a petition that was gathering signatures of those who had lost confidence in the housing association’s board.
The board had voted against paying 8,000 kroner for the annual Christmas tree and party, but had earlier in the year approved the payment of 60,000 kroner for a party celebrating the Muslim holiday of Eid. Five out of nine of the board members are Muslims.

It frightens me Dixie. At the same time though it illustrates exactly the minds of those who in the second and third century were employed to exterminate true christianity in Europe. That seething mass of ignorant barbarians in the film would not have been out of place in those ancient times. They herald a continuation of the dark ages.
Fifty-eight percent of Republicans in the USA are born-again Christians who believe that Earth is 10 000 years old. These are the same people who maintain the right to bear arms. Not much difference is there, between the Islamic fundamentalists and their North American counterparts.

Actually, the laws against slavery were created and pushed by people who did so because of their Christianity. See especially William Wilberforce.
Once again, the leaders that did away with segregation, on both sides, were practising Christians.
Much of the opposition to apartheid came from Christian churches.
The murderous tendencies displayed in all human societies are rarely based on supposedly Christian beliefs.

The SS was not allowed to attend Christian churches.
The Nazis set up the Reichkirche, which they intended to be the only church in the Third Reich........it was only the refusal of Christians to go along that limited its importance.
The Reichkirche:
- demanded the immediate cessation of the publishing and dissemination of the Bible in Germany
- declared Hitler's Mein Kampf as the greatest of all documents.
- declared the National Church would clear away from its altars all crucifixes, Bibles, and pictures of saints.
- Nothing but a copy of Mein Kampf was to be left on the altar, with a sword to the left of it.
- the Christian Cross was to be removed from all churches.....and replaced by the swastika.
In addition, the Old Testament was to be dumped, and all reference to Jews removed.
Does that sound Christian to you???

The accusation that Naziism was "Christian" is a massive smear on the religion.
