Northern Ontario,
Welcome to CC Jenson. Of course their are no Jew haters here. DasComa has a mission to defend Israel against any assault by common sense and good vision.

I appreciate an antique joke, of course this is a variant of the old Edison factory joke first aimed at Irish bulb changers. This example is very crude I have a sizable collection of far better.

Watching this video, one cannot help but think about what it would be like to be living under such circumstances.

In Canada, most people who identify themselves as being "On the Left" always seem to support the Palestinians and oppose the Israelis.

Thought Experiment: Imagine your community in Canada periodically had rockets fired at it by people on a not too distant Native Reserve, claiming that they were oppressed and their land had been stolen. In the aftermath of the destruction of people and property, do you think the same folks on the Left would continue to be as tolerant and understanding of those wreaking the havoc? Or would their views "miraculously" change faster than one could utter the words "complete hypocrites"?!

Update: The views from the Left and the Right.

I blame them both, they believe in fairy tales, therefore they are all nuts. We should all step away and let them work it out.

Gazans don't get warnings about incoming Israeli bombs, rockets and mortars. What's the point? The warnings would be constant. What Israelis experience for 15 seconds occasionally has been a constant in the lives of Gazans for six years. No one in Gaza is safe... anywhere or at any time. Not even babies sleeping in their beds at night.

The baby son of a BBC worker was among those killed in Israel's air strike on Gaza on Wednesday.

Jihad Misharawi, who is employed by BBC Arabic, lost his 11-month-old baby Omar.

Mr Misharawi's brother was also seriously injured when his house was struck in the Israeli operation and his sister in law was killed.

Israel killed a Hamas military chief during the series of air strikes on Gaza on Wednesday, prompting Palestinian militants to warn that the Jewish state had opened "the gates of hell".

The front page photo on Thursday’s Washington Post tells, in a single frame, a very personal story from Wednesday’s Israeli airstrikes on the Gaza Strip.

Plenty of suffering on both sides too.

I wish all the war mongers could be dropped off on an island to fight it out. Later they can tell us who won.

When Abbas renounced the Right of Return you did not see war coming?

Hamas is split between the hardliners outside and inside of Gaza and those inside who want to deal with Israel.

Is that why homes still get bulldozed on the West Bank? Hard to negotiate when rockets are flying and houses get destroyed. Bunch of nuts.... All of them, not sure why the west wastes its time.

I don't hate anyone. I am against supporting one side's war criminals over the others.

Neither side's war criminals can claim they are true to their faith. No religion supports war crimes or crimes against humanity.

How about money?

To date, the United States has provided Israel $115 billion in bilateral assistance.
