So? There are passages in the Quran that promote peace and love, too.

I don't particularly agree with "appeasing them" but I see no reason why they'd not be like most of the rest of the planet if other nations and religions left them to their own devices. Same for Christianity.
Those two religions are simply the most aggressive on the planet. But keep ignoring the similarities if you must.
Christianity shouldn't be thought of as a stand alone religion nor should Islam. Both are brews of the same Pharisee cauldron complete with bat wings finger nail parings and the blood of the innocent.

Like I keep saying, Colpy; you expect people in a different religion than Christianity and is half a millennium younger than Christianity to behave like Christian people. Unrealistic, at best and reminds me of Coldslime's wish to have all humanity morphed into his version of what should be. Islam and its people will evolve and it won't be because of your hatred for it and them.
