People not born in Canada, NOT having attained citizenship would not be afforded the same rights as a Canadians born on Canadian soil. But it doesn't work like that in Israel. If you are Jewish, Israeli citizenship is considered a birth right, even if they were born outside of Israel. Jews who immigrated to Israel have more rights and freedoms than non-Jews born in Israel.
In Canada discriminating on the basis of religion is illegal. That's one reason why Canada is a far better place to live than Israel. Its also why we don't have nearly as many problems or violence. Injustice and oppression leads to violence. Justice and freedom leads to peace. while Israel practices religious based discrimination, oppression and injustice they will continuously have to deal with people violently fighting for equal rights, freedom and justice.

Same in Israel. Religious freedom is entrenched in law. There are no "Reserved seats" for minority religions in the Knesset.
