Israel still controls Gaza though.
No it doesn't. Hamas does.

Wrong. Israel controls everything that goes in and out of Gaza...
No it doesn't. The tunnels aside. Israel doesn't control the Egyptian border. Nor does Israel control the goods transported into Gaza by recognized aid groups.

also completely controls the air.
That's why Palestine has it's own airline.

Israeli settlers seized Palestinian land in several areas around the West Bank on Sunday and Monday. On Sunday, near the village of Yatta south of Hebron, Israeli settlers from the illegal settlement of Susiya seized Palestinian land and placed a power generator there in advance of plans to expand the settlement in the area. This was followed by additional 12 acres of land confiscation in the Jordan Valley and the area south of Bethlehem on Monday.

The Israeli military stepped up its presence and military actions by raiding homes in Hebron. Security sources reported that Israeli forces increased their presence in Durah and Ra's al-Jourah neighbourhood in Hebron, placing military checkpoints at the entrances of the city. Israeli forces raided several neighborhoods in the areas in and around Hebron on Wednesday, detaining nine Palestinians in the process, while Israeli settlers simultaneously attacked Palestinians according to reports from WAFA and PNN.

Israeli soldiers arrested two Palestinian children in the west bank city of Hebron. 15-year-old Basel Mataryeh was arrested by a large number of Israeli soldiers after they raided his home. He was detained on the pretext of throwing rocks at the Israeli settlement of Kiryat Arba. Saqer Sweity, 13, was also arrested after a raid on his family’s home in Beit Awa, a village south of Hebron. The PPC told WAFA that the soldiers held his father at gunpoint, ransacked the house, and terrorized the family before taking Sweity away.

A number of Israeli settlers setup mobile houses in the village of al-Khader near the southern Palestinian city of Bethlehem. Ahmad Salah, coordinator of the Popular Committee against the Wall in al-Khader told IMEMC that a group of Israeli settlers, accompanied by Israeli soldiers, arrived on Tuesday and Wednesday to the Batn al-Ma'asi area in the village and setup 10 mobile houses and electricity poles in a nearby location already occupied by settlers.

In central West Bank, Palestinians organized anti-wall and settlements protests in the villages of Bil’in, Nil’in and al-Nabi Saleh. Israeli troops used chemical water in addition to tear gas to suppress protesters.

Israeli and international supporters joined villagers after the midday prayers at all three locations. Troops used tear gas and rubber-coated steel bullets to stop the protests. Many were treated for the effects of tear gas inhalation and treated by field medics.

In other news, Israeli soldiers attacked the weekly protest at Al-Nabi Saleh village near Ramallah wounding four people including a 9-year old child.

The villagers marched after the midday prayers towards the confiscated lands, however, Israeli troops stopped them by firing several rounds of rubber-coated steel bullets and a number of tear gas canisters. Nine-year old Mohammad Tamimi was hit in his arm with a tear gas canister and was moved to the hospital for treatment.

Three others were wounded with rubber-coated steel bullets however, their wounds were described as minor.

In northern West Bank, at the village of Kufur Qadduom, villagers accompanied by international supporters were attacked with tear gas as soon as they reached the road block isolating the village form the surrounding villages and towns. Local sources said that several residents were treated for the effects of tear gas inhalation.

Meanwhile on Friday, in southern West Bank, several residents were also treated for the effects of tear gas inhalation when Israeli soldiers attacked the villagers of Al Ma’sara as they organized their weekly anti wall and settlements protest which called this week for boycotting Israeli products.

Residents and international supporters marched near the construction site of the wall and were faced with tear gas fired by Israeli troops operating in the area.

In prisoners news, Akram al Rekhawi, a Palestinian prisoner being held in Ramle prison clinic, ended a 102 day hunger strike on Sunday which aimed to increase attention to the plight of ill detainees. Al-Rekhawi, who was arrested in 2004, stated in a letter to the Palestinian Minister of Detainees Affairs, that prisoners languishing in the clinic of Ramle prison have been suffering medical neglect by Israeli prison authorities.

He claims their medical needs are being neglected without regard for international humanitarian law. He also stated that there is an international moral responsibility to end disregard for prisoners’ lives, especially those suffering from serious illnesses and disabilities. Al-Rekhawi suffers from diabetes, asthma and osteoporosis and ended his hunger strike after the Israeli authorities agreed to release him six months early, in January 2013.

Why not start a thread on why Israel does not have a right to exist as a State.

I don't have that opinion. My opinion is that all people (including Jews, Muslims, Palestinians, Israelis....) have a right to freedom and justice.

Why don't you start a thread on why Palestinians should be gassed in extermination camps?

Tell you what, if you don't make up or imply BS about me, then I won't make up or imply BS about you?

I've never made anything up about you. I've supported all my observations with your own posts.

That didn't stop you from implying all sorts of ignorant things about me.

Your actions betray your claims.

So, anyways, back to the topic.

When are you leaving?

Those that think you are an illegal squatter want to know.

Perhaps you should retract and apologize for such a claim that I believe in the extermination of Palestinians- I am getting very tired of you making allegations such as that. It appears to have become a habit that I advise you to attend to very quickly.

If you read post #362 its plain that Israel treats Palestinians worse than animals. since the US uses their veto to support Israeli injustice and oppression, I think the PA should see if they can get recognition from PETA so they can get the same rights animals enjoy. It might not be recognition as a human being, but at least they would have some rights.

The contents of that post, don't meet your standards, let alone mine.

Why should anyone believe it?

But that's besides the point.

When are you leaving?

You're looking more and more like a blatant hypocrite, every time you post from your home on contested Native land.

You stick to quoting me and I'll stick to quoting you. If you make up crap about me, then I'll make up crap about you. You want a civil debate, then you have to act civil too.

You don't. That's why you're here delegitimizing and demonizing, the State of Israel.

If you make up crap about me, then I'll make up crap about you.
I already stated that you don't adhere to that standard.

You want a civil debate, then you have to act civil too.
Debate with you is impossible. You ignore what refutes your claims, and you continuously make things up about anyone that disagrees with you.

Anyways, I guess from here on out, I'll simply refer to you as the "Hypocrite". Since you live on contested land, while you demonize Israelis for the same thing.

Look, I understand you need to demonize Israel, Hypocrite. But just because IMEMC parrots what is broadcast by WAFA and PNN, doesn't make it fact.

Your own standards dictate that.

When will you be leaving that contested land, Hypocrite?

Since our news only reports the Israeli version of events, Palestinian war crimes and only names Israeli victims, our news is missing the other side of the story. IMEC reports the Palestinians narrative, Israeli war crimes and names Palestinian victims. I'll stop referencing this source when our news starts reporting on this conflict in a fair and objective way.

Listening to the other side is called having an open mind. we already get the Israeli version of events from the CBC, BBC, FoxNews, CNN....

What's the matter, can't handle hearing about Palestinian suffering?

This Week in Palestine, July 20th, 2012
by IMEMC
Tuesday Jul 24th, 2012 10:30 PM

Israeli forces continued their occupation of Palestine through the illegal assault and arrest of several Palestinian students this week, one student, 17-year old Mahmoud al-Badan was rushed to hospital in Jerusalem before being imprisoned. In Gaza 43-year old Rawhi Kerkz was arrested at the Erez border crossing as he sought permission to travel into Israel for urgent medical care, the details of this story and more with IMEMC's. Kelly Joiner

Several Palestinian journalists in Jerusalem boycotted a press conference held by U.S. Secretary of state, Hilary Clinton, in Jerusalem after Israeli security officers ordered them to undergo a strip search before they enter the conference room at the David Citadel Hotel in Jerusalem. The reporters stated that they conducted all needed prior arrangements and obtained all needed permits to enter the press conference, but the Israeli Internal Security refused to allow them into the hotel unless they agree to be strip searched. The journalist refused and left the hotel building. They said that Israel did not require that Israeli and International reporters should also be strip-searched and only targeted Palestinian reporters. On Thursday, the International Federation of Journalists, in solidarity with Palestinian reporters, called on the US government to condemn the incident.

Near Bethlehem this week, Israeli soldiers assaulted and abused Mahmoud Al-Badan, 17, after breaking into his home, Sunday, in Tiqua’ town. Next door neighbors witnessed the soldiers kicking and hitting Mahmoud with rifle butts and batons, in addition to repeatedly punching him before they cuffed and blindfolded him, and threw him in one of the jeeps and sped away. He was later transferred to Jerusalem’s Hadassah Ein Kerem hospital. Doctors there found the teen had bruising to the head and a broken jaw. Israeli forces then brought Al-Badan back to prison.

In related news, Israeli soldiers raided several homes and kidnapped three youngsters in the village of Ya’bud, southwest of Jenin on Tuesday. The youths were named as Nameq Tareq Abu Bakr, 19, Haidar Amarneh, 22, and Majdi Amarneh, 20.The Israeli raids follow similar military action on Monday where the village of Azoun, east of Qalqilya in the western part of the occupied territories was raided and a child of 16 was arrested.

Israeli Occupation Forces continued to destroy Palestinian land this week. On Tuesday, farmland belonging to a Palestinian family in the village of Qasra near Nablus in the northern part of the West Bank was destroyed. They razed the fields belonging to Mohammad and Saqer Shahadeh surrounding about 30 olive trees and then proceeded to uproot the trees. That same day, the Israeli army raided Al Qanoub area in Sa'ir, east of Hebron and issued a demolition order on two cisterns used to irrigate land for the benefit of twenty people, of whom more than half are children. And on Thursday, the Israeli army entered the town of al-Khader south of Bethlehem and destroyed a water well that had been build to collect rain water so that local farmers could irrigate their land. A large amount of crops belonging to Ali Jaber were also destroyed.

In other news, a Palestinian village that is completely cut off from the West Bank by the illegal Israeli separation barrier has been without electricity for ten days. Mechanics required to repair the only generator require special permission from the Israeli military. The village of Dhaher al-Malih west of Jenin in the northern part of the occupied West Bank, had to rely on generators from the Palestinian Authority for power. Ten days ago, their sole remaining generator broke down leaving the isolated villagers without electricity. Attempts by the PA to connect the village to the grid have been rebuffed by Israel, and attempts by the villagers to bring mechanics in to repair the generator have met with a similar response.

A Palestinian man who was attempting to travel from Gaza to Jerusalem for medical treatment was detained due to travel restrictions in the third such case this month according to Ma’an news. Jabaliya resident, Rawhi Fouad Kerkz, 43, went to meet Israeli intelligence officials on Sunday at Erez crossing to discuss his permit to travel to the hospital in Jerusalem. According to Al-Mezan Center for Human Rights and Physicians for Human Rights-Israel, Kerkz never returned. He left early on Sunday and later in the evening his family received a call from an Israeli official saying he was being held in Ashkelon jail.

Israeli forces attacked anti-wall protests organized at a number of West Bank communities on Friday, many demonstrators were treated for the effects of tear gas inhalation. IMEMC’s Ghassan Bannoura with the details.

In central West Bank, protests were reported at the villages of Bil’in, Nil’in and al-Nabi Saleh. Israeli troops used chemical water in addition to tear gas to suppress protesters.
Israeli soldiers attacked Al Nabi Saleh protests at the village entrance while in Bil’in and Ni’lin protesters managed to reached the Israeli wall.

In northern West Bank, at the village of Kufer Qaduom, villagers and their international supporters were attacked with tear gas as soon as they reached the road block that is isolation the village. Local sources said that many residents were treated for tear gas inhalation.

Meanwhile on Friday, in southern West Bank, many were treated for the effects of tear gas inhalation when Israeli soldiers attacked the villagers of Al Ma’sara as they organized their weekly anti wall and settlements protest.

Friday July 13, 2012

Israeli settler and military violence escalate against the Palestinian Population in the West Bank and the Gaza Strip with more than 60 incursions into Palestinian communities, the details and more IMEMC's. Kelly Joiner

The Palestinian Center for Human Rights (PCHR) released its weekly report on the West Bank and Gaza today. They reported that the Israeli military continued to use force to disperse peaceful protesters resulting in injuries to 4 Palestinians including 1 child.
Israeli forces also carried out widespread abductions. 2 Palestinian civilians and 3 human rights defenders were kidnapped during non-violent protests. 26 Palestinians including 7 children were abducted during incursions into the West Bank by the Israeli military. There were 63 reported incursions this week alone.

In Hebron, after two separate incidents involving Israeli military and settler violence, the Israeli army shut down the Old City. A teenage girl and a French citizen were wounded in successive days by Israeli fire.

In Jerusalem, an Eritrean family lost their home and suffered smoke inhalation after an arson attack that was motivated by racism. Many African migrants have been targeted in Israel lately by right-wing extremist groups who want Israel to be a Jewish only state.
In related news, Israeli settlers were responsible for the destruction of 120 olive trees south of Nablus, the confiscation of a 5 dunum area in al-Khader village south of Bethlehem, and in Nabi Younis north of Hebron, settlers attacked Palestinian civilians in their vehicles.

In Gaza, Israeli warplanes launched renewed airstrikes and an incursion into Khan Younis, as well as firing on Palestinians inside Gaza. Mahmoud al Haiji was killed by an Israeli airstrike on Thursday that also leveled large portions of Palestinian land. One Palestinian man was shot by Israeli forces while picking up scrap for recycling. Israel has continued its total closure of both land and water borders in Gaza as well.

Also in Gaza, 5 children were injured by an unexploded ordinance (UXO) according to a United Nations (UN) report. Since the beginning of 2012, 17 other children have been wounded by UXOs in Gaza and an additional 9 Palestinians were also injured. These injuries resulted in at least one death.

In addition, one man was abducted at Erez crossing while attempting to cross into Israel to seek medical attention. While en route to hospital, the Palestinian patient was detained and abducted at Beit Hanoun.

The artistic director of The Freedom Theatre in Jenin began a hunger strike this week to protest his administrative detention by the Israeli military. He is one of an estimated 320 Palestinians currently in prison without charges under Israeli military administrative detention orders. There are currently 4700 Palestinians in Israeli military prisons, which includes 185 children.

Palestinian footballer Mahmoud Sarsak was released this week after a hunger strike of 96 days protesting his administrative detention. After being detained while attempting to attend a football match, he lost nearly half of his body weight on his hunger strike.

Israeli troops used tear gas and rubber-coated steel bullets to suppress anti wall protests organized in a number of West Bank communities this week. IMEMC’s Jack Muir.with the details

A Dutch national sustained a head injury after being hit by a tear gas canister and dozens of others suffered the effects of tear gas inhalation as Israeli troops attacked demonstrators at the separation wall near Bil’in
About 80 people, both Palestinian and Internationals, took part in the weekly protest in the small village of Bil’in this afternoon. The weekly protest is aimed at halting the construction of the illegal separation wall being erected by Israel inside the occupied West Bank.

Villagers from Bil’in were joined by about 25 internationals who then marched from the village to the wall, chanting slogans denouncing the illegal occupation.

The Israeli army responded by firing salvos of tear gas canisters at the demonstrators. One international activist was struck in the back of the head causing serious injury. Dozens of others suffered from the effects of tear gas inhalation.
The Israeli army fired dozens of tear gas canisters towards the demonstrators despite the fact that many children were present.
In the village of Nabi Saleh, northwest of Ramallah, a demonstration resulted in arrests and use waste water by the occupation forces. The march began in Martyr’s Square are continued throughout the streets until reaching Shahid Mustafa al-Tamimi Street where soldiers and patrolmen were waiting. The soldiers and patrolmen then began to spray the demonstration’s participants with waste water.

In the southern west bank city of al Ma’sara, the Israeli army forced demonstrators into the village after they had attempted to march to the separation barrier to protest the illegal land grabs by Israeli settlers.
