Admire it? I love it!

And the thumbs up he gets from Fuzzy? Oh that's just the hypocritical gravy, that is.

Hmmm, cabbage and gravy? Not a good combo. We need some meat in the mix.

Myself I think Harper puts Chretien to shame on running rampant - But Harpers govt often not knowing what direction they are running rampant on- Their messaging sucks - A freaking Mute - no offense to mutes- could speak clearer than this gang of bozos.

Ottawa cuts off provincial data just before it announces new rules for EI | News | National Post

And Harper will pay the price in the next election.

I am not Harper's number one fan by a long shot however I don't think he holds a candle to the arrogant ways and means of Mr. Jean Chretien!

I will agree, he's no Don Jean, but Harper has made using all the tricks of the trade, an Olympic sport.

Oh of course. He is a politician after all. Can't really trust the lot of them any further than you can throw them.

Well, me throw them, maybe not you, lol.

Ya think? Lol. Can't quote, can't spell, can't structure a sentence, seems incapable of posting a link. Then he acts all self righteous! You almost have to admire the temerity!

I would take you in in questions of usage of the English language, anytime. And in using it.

What I posted needs no "backup," and a only a complete ignoramus like your mentor would ask for it. The facts are what a judge would call amenable to judicial discretion. That is, they have been reported so often and so widely that they are taken as fact.

You should try discussing instead of fawning over the forum's prize idiot.

I beg to disagree- Please recall how liberal MP`s did speak out - Now the harper govt haas a bunch of lemmings - if this fellow had the balls to speak in caucus - then others would as well. A bakers dozen, discontented MP`s can tilt the balance- lastly - recall Cons MP speaking out about the Internet Bill - that along with public outrage sent the bill away to die.

Oh the irony!!!

Oh the irony.

Stop it, I'm starting to feel embarrassed for you.

The facts are what a judge would call amenable to judicial discretion. That is, they have been reported so often and so widely that they are taken as fact.
Just because you parrot your claims ad nauseum, doesn't mean it's been reported.

You have no credibility here.

You should try discussing instead of fawning over the forum's prize idiot.
The fact that you are incapable of discussion, aside. She does not fawn over you.

And Bucky- many things are reported as so called fact to be found later not to be fact- play one side of the coin - remember there are 3 sides to a flat round coin.

And neither can they afford public transit. Most world class cities outside North America, and many in the US, subsidize transit.

Another problem Canadians face.

When did we quit subsidizing public transit? Everytime I buy gas and even some of my property taxes help provide cheap transit for those that do not drive and there isn't even a bus within 5 miles of my place. In Vancouver it is even worse. There Translink has the right to set their own taxes and even want to tax private parking spaces to fund public transit.

Why would you think I care about what you say you can do? Put up or shut up.

Try thinking for yourself once in a while. In fact, try thinking. Or asking questions. Or making suggestions. Or reading. Instead of talking 'at' people and making a giant ass of yourself.

You should try discussing instead of fawning over the forum's prize idiot.
Is that supposed to be an insult? LOL.

Poor thing. You really aren't an alpha are you?

Ah but I'm referring to the arrogance of the man himself. Like I said, not a fan of Harper or of any politician really, but I find Chretien to be overbearing and real blowhard. Harper is shifty, but I've come to expect that from politicians as I've said.

If we are talking about subsidizing transit fares for low income earners to make taking transit more affordable. Every major city in Canada offers reduced rate transit passes from individual to Family passes.

Anyone who does not know has no right to pontificate on an Internet forum - or anywhere for that matter. There have been hundreds of media reports about that. There have been scores of studies put out by the organisations concerned.

And, if the naysayers had the intelligence they would be able to work it out for themselves. Welfare and EI rates are known; perhaps not to them but they could find it, the costs of transit or automobile use are easily estimated.

Most welfare and EI recipients could afford neither. I have a great deal of personal experience in that as, after the 1991 recession, I assisted scores of people in that dilemma to try to find a way out and to get out of the debt trap that inadequate support put them in.

Frankly, those like Teddy make me sick with their smugness and elitism.

And their posts aimed at me are just amusing. They try desperately to display superiority while parading nothing but their infantile nastiness.

Are their egos so bruised in daily life that they have to scream from anonymity?

In other words you still can't back up your statements. Well, you're consistent if nothing else.

Oh yes, and here's a little something backing up my contention that relief is available to low income persons for transit passes.

Calgary Transit: Low-Income Monthly Transit Pass

It does not need any "backing up." It takes an extraordinary degree of ignorance to question it. And, I realise that some of you think that Calgary is the new Mecca but it is not and its transit passes have nothing to do with the world.

and by the way, Calgary is not the only city in Canada that offers subsidized transit fares for low income persons. Ottawa, Hamilton, Vancouver, Winnipeg.....................................................
