Anyone on EI right now can expect a 6 week wait as the public servants that process the claims exercise their right to not process any claims since the govt. cut back on all OT.

This was supposed to be insurance, not a hand out.Bad enough when the libs used the extra funds in the fund to pay down the debt but at least you got a cheque in a couple weeks.
Anyone who thinks you can live easily on EI has never been on it.

EDIT-Not 6 weeks,more like 3 months.

back up your statements or shut the fu ck up. I'm calling you on your bullshyte.

and by the way, Calgary is not the only city in Canada that offers subsidized transit fares for low income persons. Ottawa, Hamilton, Vancouver, Winnipeg.....................................................

Before you open your mouth (figuratively) you should make sure of your facts. Calgary's programme is not a very useful one for the unemployed or for most on Social Assistance. It offers a reduced rate pass for those with incomes lower than 75% of LICO, thereby excluding the majority of those in need and offering subsidy to many for whom transit is still out of financial reach.

Most of the others offer such programmes to the disabled and to similar problems. There are no adequate programmes anywhere in Canada.

Where the programmes you mention and I also, do exist, they are not in the larger cities where they are needed because of distances. Except, of course, in Vancouver where there is a very limited programme.

So call me. But don't call too loud unless you want people to hear you making a fool of yourself.

Where I want the lone drawn is irrelevant. There are many studies suggesting where it should be drawn and why. I don't need to "back up" anything I have not backed up. Is the notion of using your intelligence foreign to you?

What you think posting some figures means I do not know. Perhaps you could say what they imply.

Most welfare and EI recipients could afford neither.
Care to back that up?

I know several welfare and EI recipients that own more than one car.

Frankly, those like Teddy make me sick with their smugness and elitism.
Smug, yes, especially when dealing with trolls like you. Elitest, not even remotely.

And their posts aimed at me are just amusing.
Of course they are, that's the goal.

They try desperately to display superiority while parading nothing but their infantile nastiness.
I don't have to display my superiority over you. You've removed all doubt.

Are their egos so bruised in daily life that they have to scream from anonymity?
I've actually met people from this forum in real life.

Have you?

It does not need any "backing up." It takes an extraordinary degree of ignorance to question it.
Speaking of smug elitism.

Why do participate in a political forum if you are abysmally ignorant of politics and everything that is happening in your country.
What have you been told about arguing with yourself in public?

Why participate and post opinions as facts?
Because he's a smug elitist, lol.

No doubt. I'm sure there's one part of one platform issue you don't like so much.

It's OK for you to be a shill Fuzzy. Just stop pretending you aren't. You're embarrassing yourself.

It's OK to move the goalposts Bear.

*yawn*

EDIT: And do stealth edits when you realize you f'd up. ROFLCOPTERS.

LOL, hey, if it helps you get through your day, you can pretend anything you like. You already do a great job pretending not to be a Dipper shill.

Let me know when you need moar hanky panky. :)
No thanks, I've told you before, your advances are unwanted. Please heed that.

Seriously though.

You need to relax a bit.

Maybe go to a spa.

Let loose.

Take of your pants or something.
