Naah It didn't...It even affected your post in the quote box but ll straighten itself out when I "submit reply"

It didn't for me either.

It was really hard to sort out when I was multi quoting earlier. Really hard to read and figure out where it started and stopped, lol. But it does straighten out when posting.

Still can't thumbs up more then half the posts though.

:ky:.........so, we still have long gun registration?? Ain't been keeping up on the bullsh it from "the hill".

If we still have it, we still will come next erection..........an' probably after that.

The cons will destroy all the data, but will actually keep a list just for themselves, just to piss off Quebec. And Que. really won't be pissed off, it will just say it is to piss off the rest of Canada..............if anyone still cares what pisses off Que. Probably they don't.

So, without making me go back and read this long, tedious, thread, we still got long gun registration??? truth now.:3some:

Yep, we still got it.....for a VERY limited time.

The gun registration bill has been going through the Senate. It has passed Committee stage (without amendment), and is scheduled for third and final reading in the Senate tomorrow, April 2.

Then it must be Proclaimed by the G-G.

It is a long slow process.

To help calm the fears of the anti squad, and the paybec crew, i submit that a license was/is/will still be required to purchase a firearm, ergo, you have a database.

Which is outrageous when you compare it to the time it took them to pass the criminalization of recording equipment in movie theatres. It was a week and a half from the movie industries in the US declaring that they would delay airing of movies in Canada to the Governor General signing the bill that made it a crime to carry into a movie theatre a cell phone capable of taking video footage.

If only there was some VIP backing to this bill...

It is now classified under "Explosives storage"

I guess it's time to double check the glove box and under the seat in the truck for cartridges.

Useless....My MP is NDP, one of those useless twits that changed her vote the last time abolition of the registry came up....My letter that time just put me on her mailing list for constant NDP propaganda in my mailbox...

Which is why I understand where Flossy is coming from with his C/Ps

Well, the first real explosives I ever made (back when I was making explosives, at 14) were made from the gun powder found in loose shotgun shells my father left lying around.

Shortly thereafter I just started making my own gun powder, it was much cheaper, and I was less likely of getting caught making my bombs.

Meh. It won't be the end of gun registries in any case. Short of legislating that the police need a warrant in order to browse the gun registry, the slow slide towards a registry will continue. When the next one costs a reasonable amount of money to implement, the political motivation to axe it will be much more toothless.

People that want everything end up with nothing.
