Would you guys all get a grip. How many civilians did American bombs kill in Viet Nam, or Cambodia, or Laos??

The answer is something around four million. 9/11 was a drop in a bucket by comparison.

Are you saying Vietnam, Cambodia, and Laos were behind 9/11?

WTF Juan... seriously?

Hunting Witches in the ‘War on Terror’

Witches did 9/11?

Well that explains the holograms.

US foreign policy, of which Vietnam, Laos and Cambodia were just a few, was responsible for 911. Millions have died to feed the endless need of the west for oil and poppies.

The only difference between a terrorist and a freedom fighter is which side they are on.

Exactly!

None of those countries I mentioned was a threat to the U.S., but they won the ire of the B-52s just the same.

America's foreign policy caused 9/11. Seriously stupid American politicians caused 9/11. I mentioned
VietNam, Cambodia, and Laos because all three of those countries lost a thousand times the number
of people who were killed on 9/11.

EXACTLY........ but that does not matter. What matters is that 9-11 offered the USG an opportunity they could only dream of as they could then give themselves license to roam the planet looking for these" terrorists" but doing so in selective nations......particularly those that would be advantageous to have as puppets of the US.......or satelites of the US. Occupation of other nations has offered up a whole new vernacular (language) to make it more palatable to the sheeple ,

You are so right that the Politicians (not all perhaps) of the US and their stylized foregin policy created the environment of anti americanism that yeilded a terror crime of that magnitude.

But it is still very suspicious as when one asks: WHO BENEFITS?? Well the USG benefited big time. They could nver have been able to get away with the atrocities they committed without the EXCUSE of 9-11. Even the sheeple would have denounced such actions.

Terrorism seldom truly "benefits". It is an enraged action based on feelings of outrage that have been building for some time. At ,most , all they benefit is making a strong statement of rage against the policies that have been hurtful , either directly or indirectly.

But the media has been selling a certain color of Kool AIde and too many have bought into it LITERALLY and decided it was not worth questioning further.... even if glaring issues are so obvious they are hard to miss.

Then came the "with us or with the terrorists" crap from the US leadership..... and that only fostered more prejudice and a divisiveness that cannot be changed. OF course , the silliness of that jargon omits a third option......and that is NEITHER.But few have had the courage to say that because of the kind of verbal backlash that the brainwashed spew.

Please don't have apoplexy..........but what he is saying is that those situations, (engagements ) were part of the US foreign policy ....the policy that has treated many nations in some very negative ways...... thus building a rage through time that results in the desperate acts of suicidal terrorism. The rage at the US has been building for many years and has been demonstrated by terror acts against US interests ........but it seemed that a more expressive event was needed to make a point.

When folks see how things are going and seeing how some are abused , while others are shown preference and all purely on politicallly motivated agendas.

NO ONE can deny that the US has been more than a little unfair in how it treats others. It can foster rage with its words and deeds ,And provoking specific groups is counter productive.

are you saying that those interventions won a favorable position for the US??? Look at how Viet Nam ended... Look at how long it has taken for their people to regroup ......

What if the US decided to intervene in Mexico or Canada?? Would that be ok in your eyes.?? Would Canada willingly lay down and let the US have its way as it slaughtered Canadians based on some fabricated piece of BS??? Given the fanatical support that some give to US policies...... they just might support the US against Canada. THAT folks is treason.

These interventions have HURT a lot of PEOPLE. and have caused a lot of resentment.

UNITED NATIONS — The U.N. General Assembly voted overwhelmingly Tuesday to condemn the U.S. embargo against Cuba for the 20th year in a row.
The final tally was 186-2, with only Israel joining the United States as it did last year. The small Pacific nations of Palau, Micronesia and the Marshall Islands abstained as they also did last year.

were the americans not trying to help the south vietemese from being sucked into communism.

the north and the south were at war, the south wanted the help, sure it was a failure, but

not an outright attack by the u.s. on vietnam, they were fighting with the south.

yeah it was a mess allright, they couldn't tell one from the other, that was part of the north
vietnam's tactics.

why don't you talk about the french and their connection to vietnam before the americans
arrived, how did that go, not so good it seems.

that is a blatant example of what you say. It also shows what is a sore area for many on the planet ........that fanatical dualship between Israel and the US. they are joined at the hip in using violence and war . MANY PEOPLE have suffered & died at their hands. Yet they claim to be an example of civility , and other humanitarian principles .......while behaving the opposite.
