You mentioned that once before.

Is it perhaps an unreasonable comparison. If not why???

Was the Muslim population targeted for murder after 911 in the US?

Do Muslims that immigrate take longer to integrate into the society than Jews did.

We have Imams in this country that are hardliners -

How many Rabbi's condone mass murder - or if condone is not the correct term - use the phrase - They were only boys being boys - Imam regarding the TO 18 - He also had a lot more to say about the injustice of their charges. am not using the moral relativism argument.

Does the Muslim community act against hatred when preached in a Mosque.

Some points that come to mind.

Balanced Canadian study? There were some good results from that study, but it's arguable how representative it was of Canada.
Restricting the research to a single city has the added advantage of what researchers
call a “controlled” setting. By eliminating the influence of the effects of inter-regional
or inter-city differences within Canada, we could more easily zero in on potential
differences in the attitudes of Muslims and Christians from Muslim lands without
worrying that any observed differences might be better attributed to the city or
province of residency than religion.

The main disadvantage of restricting the telephone interviewing to a single city is the
difficulty of making generalizations about Muslims across Canada. The extent to which
a sample drawn from a single city really is representative of attitudes among Canadian
Muslims more broadly is a legitimate concern. Yet, even a nation-wide survey could
be problematic were it not designed to capture and report on differences in attitudes
driven by national and regional origins of Muslim newcomers to Canada. It may be
more important to know where Muslims lived before they came to Canada than after.
From that perspective, a single-city study is actually less problematic than it may seem
at first glance.

Still, we recognized that a single-city study could be distorting. That is why we followed
up with focus groups across the country. The eight focus groups among representative
samples of Muslims were intended to shed light on and help interpret the findings
from the survey. The three focus groups among Uyghurs were intended to provide a
comparative setting for the main focus groups.
On the one hand they use a single city to control for inter-regional differences, then use 8 focus groups from across the country to help interpret the results from one survey of what they describe as a distinct population.

That's wonky.

But there were some good and bad results nonetheless.

Yep.

Offer the apologists a timely, thoughtful, balanced Canadian study done by a reputable think-tank and they reply with a three year old vid of some American nutcase discussing his obsessive delusions about dolls

Btw, if you clink on your link, here's one of the comments:

BURN THE DAMN MOSQUE AND DRIVE OUT THE MUHAMMEDANS! ENOUGH OF HAVING THE MORAL HIGH GROUND THIS ISN'T A BATTLE TO WIN HEARTS OR TO WIN A PRIZE ON MORALITY, THIS IS A WAR FOR SURVIVAL! ****ING SURVIVAL! I THINK I'M GONNA SNAP SOME DAY BECAUSE OF THE DAMN THINGS THOSE MUHAMMEDAN ANIMALS DO

MF;

With all of the hullabaloo and issues surrounding this topic, are you really that surprised there are reactions like this?

Well, yea, the misinformation flying from all sides is causing a negative perception. You can partly thank media moguls like Faux and Sun News for that - and then as a response to their right wing lunacy, the left wing sites fall for the bait and become the apologists.

Very true

Why thank you, good sir. I'm truly proud of always having my finger on the pulse of this country.

I wouldn't put much stock into McDonalds-Loserier. They're the same guys that somehow believe crime is going up and we have an infinite supply of resources.

Would you expect anything less from Colpers?

Recent survey shows 35% of Muslims in Canada support the Al Quada terrorist group.
65% would like sharia law in Canada.

Strong support for Shariah in Canada | Canada | News | Toronto Sun

Nice people these muzzies, we need more of them in Canada.

Maybe they might take some action and blow up the CBC for us. Good muzzies!!!

The report also states support for extremism is just as high among Muslims born in Canada, or other Western countries, as it is among those hailing from oppressive dictatorships.
Well that should put the nail in the coffin.

If they have the same level of support here as they do in Iran, but we clearly we have no oppressive dictatorship here, then there's nothing much to worry about.

Thanks for playing everyone.

Of course you wouldn't. You don't want to reveal the prototypical bigot that visits that site.

No, I don't give a crap about the prototypical bigot troll that vists the site as he is, according to the same survey of Muslim opinion of Canada, an anomaly.

What is NOT an anomaly is Muslim support for terrorists.

Gimme an idiot internet troll any day................
