And that has been exactly what I have been saying all along - Obama is Bush in darker skin. They both danced to the same puppet masters.
The founding fathers had convoluted ideals of their own, OC. If you are at all interested in learning just how convoluted I suggest you watch John Adams on History Channel. The politicians of today have nothing on some of those old dudes of yesteryear.
Nah, he isn't Cliffy. He is a man whose ideals simply did not meet with reality and someone who had little chance of changing anything once the country fell into the recession. Bush, on the other hand, was a silly twerp who let himself be governed by evil little cretins such as Dick Cheney. IMHO.
Cliffy: personally, I had really hoped that Obama would bring in the changes needed in the USG , its war policy , and work with humanitarian priorities. ...while managing the out of control debt and spending. But you are right. He has turned into a "pleaser" and if it meant giving up his own principles to appease the repugs ....he did it.

Yes it is true that Obama is looking more and more like Bush III:
1) he refuses to stop Bush's wars
2) continues to give more welfare to the rich
3) refuses to take back wealth that has been sheltered overseas

You and I go back many years so you know better than anyone here what I have always stood for.
Information Clearing House, Rense, Antiwar.com, Prison Planet, Lew Rockwell, Volokh are the principle web sites that I have always quoted from on this and on other forums. These websites have all one thing in common = they are all conservative.
The far right loonies on this forum persist in calling me liberal or commie or some other sh|t because they are too stupid and too narrow minded to read what has been posted. They live in their own little mindless world and refuse to see the light of truth. By contrast I have always tried to keep an open mind. Yes, I could quote liberal websites as sources of information. But quoting from a conservative site shows just how stupid these right wingers can be.
So yes, I will quote from the conservative Information Clearing House and defend it on this thread because it reveals the truth. But Eagle will still think it it ''liberal'' or commie because his intellectual capabilities are just too limited for him to know any better.

Lets wait and see what happens when the Financial; Managers from China show up the US Treasury and demand cash redemption non the $900 billion is US Bearer Bonds they now hold. Unless I read it wrong the Yuan is now closing in on the dollar. It may be artificially propped up but with the US Bonds redemption we may well lose a standing in the world's economic structure. There is going to be another economic Bubble Burst in the US soon. With precious metals at all time record highs I think those controlling these events are about ready to make a second haul of US cash to foreign banks soon. B of A and GM both have seen dramatic stock price drops . I'b like to them both dry up and go away.
I'm getting really fed up with all the smug, knee-jerk anti-Americanism around here and all the paranoid conspiracy theories about American behaviour around the world. It's not that complicated, you can find clear expressions of American interests, policies, motives, and attitudes, in public documents that explain everything you could want to know. You don't need to look for deep dark conspiracies, they're not necessary to explaining anything. You just need to know something about the history of how global powers behave. America's behaving no differently than Britain did when it had that role, or how other European powers like France, Germany, Spain, Portugal, the Netherlands, behaved when they wanted that role but were playing second fiddle to the Brits. It's all perfectly predicable.
You even have some Americans suffering from anti-Americanism...want to take their country down because they believe in world government..:roll:
