Stephanie Robinette, 30, is accused of spraying her breast milk at police after an alleged dispute with her husband at a wedding early Saturday, June 26, 2011, in Delaware, Ohio. (Delaware County Sheriff's Office/HO)Police say a drunk Ohio woman sprayed officers with breast milk when they tried to arrest her.
Early Saturday, officers responded to a dispute between a married couple at a wedding in Delaware, OH.
The husband alleges his wife, Stephanie Robinette, 30, struck him several times and locked herself in the car.
When officers tried to get her out of the car, she told them she was a "breastfeeding mother and proceeded to remove her right breast from her dress and began spraying deputies and the vehicle with her breast milk," Sheriff Walter Davis said in a statement.
More police responded, removed Robinette from the car and placed her under arrest.
Robinette is in custody and faces charges of domestic violence, assault, obstructing official business, resisting arrest and disorderly conduct.

Wouldn't she also be charged for assulting a police officer?

The original assault charge I imagine is towards assaulting the husband.

If you lay a finger on a police officer or even spit on an officer, it's considered assault (or some places note it as battery) on a police officer, as spit is a bodily fluid.... ie: a part of your body making contact with the officer... not to mention the possibility of infection/STD or something similar being within the fluid...... thus if spitting on an officer can be considered as assault or battery, then so too should spraying your breast milk on them.

Which is pretty frakked up in the first place.

You mean that if they beat your skull in with their bludgeons and if your blood and brain matter gets on them, they can charge you with assault? Now that is frakked up!

I love breast milk. I would feel honoured if she sprayed me. :)

So ... they arrested her? Have they no sense of humor?

What were they doing ... running around yelling that some woman sprayed them with breast milk ... and it hurt? That led them to believe they needed additional police officers?

Soooooooooooo ... what did the officers do when they heard over the radio that couple of collegues were being assaulted with breast milk? Did they jump in their cruisers and become heros ... surrounding the breast milk spraying woman and arrest her?

Don't mean to get personal, but how exactly did that happen ... your love of breast milk?

Memory from 6 months old or what?

Quite the contrary; they sped to the closest Timmy's and picked-up an emergency supply of cookies and donuts as a good addition for the offending beverage

You know, there's a reason why I don't drink milk often.... which is that we don't actually need it or supposed to drink milk after a certain age, and certainly not from another animal like we do with cows....... and you guys above are certainly not helping to sway my view.

I'll throw some milk...... Cow's Milk..... into my coffee, that's it....... but the thought of warm, unpasteurized milk coming from the breast of another human being being shot into my coffee..... well, you might as well toss that cup of coffee out, cuz I'll never drink it.

Might as well take a dump into my brownies too while I'm at it.

With logic like that, I hope you only drink water or fruit juice, although even juice would be questionable.

Coffee is definitely out, we 'don't need it' and we 'aren't supposed to drink it' according to nature.

People who use that logic as a reason not to drink milk always make me laugh. Drink it or not, but skip the foolish justifications that don't hold any water.

Man is the only specy who drinks another specy's milk.

I believe man is the only species that bakes bread and drinks coffee, too.

What does that have to do with anything? It's the stupidest justification for not drinking milk that I've ever heard.

In your narrow scope of thought!

If your logic for not drinking milk is that man is the only species that drinks milk from another species, so it's wrong, then how do you justify drinking coffee? Man is the only species that drinks coffee.

There is nothing wrong with drinking mother's milk.

Read the book "Fit for Life" by Harvey and Marilyn Diamond.
