He never left. The libs simply moved that far left of reality.

Oh yea, voting to extend the mission in afghanistan was such a swing to the left. I vividly remember Layton cheering Iggy on to drop the bomb.

This country is not leftist. Never has been. The Liberals have habitually campaigned from the left......and ruled from the right......and were the Natural Governing Party for a century with that method of operations.

The Count is, if you read any of his stuff BEFORE he became a finger-in-the-wind Liberal MP hunting NDP votes, MUCH closer philosophically to the Conservatives than to the NDP. He supports foreign intervention, and a strong military........even if he ain't saying so presently.

What I am getting at is this:

Imagine the Conservatives win the election without a majority.

Imagine the NDP pass the Liberals in seat count.

Imagine the Bloc remains a power in the House, with something like 35 or 40 seats.

This is all possible, in fact, according to the polls, even likely.........

Then I suggest to you that the healthiest solution for the nation would be a Conservative-Liberal coalition.

Otherwise you will have Layton in the PM's seat, with the Bloc as a silent partner, and the Libs as the only modifying factor in a government determined to wreck the ship of state on the shoals of economic insanity and constitutional stupidity.

If both Harper and Iggy could bury the hatchet, for the sake of the nation.

This country is not leftist.

It's not all that conservative either Colpy, the Dems in the US are more right wing than our Tories are.

If both Harper and Iggy could bury the hatchet, for the sake of the nation.

Guess you picked the wrong week to stop sniffing glue.....

Well, depending on where you throw down the markers....left compared to the USA, right compared to the Euro-weenies....or even Great Britain.
It's all left of center these days no matter where you are on the planet. Socialism has gone global and it's not going anywhere soon.

You're hair is going to grow back? Is that an election promise or for real?

Colpy's not bald. He shaves so he can look like a dick.;-)

No, I won't grow my hair back.
And Cliffy, be nice!

I have a full head of hair. Pain in the arse to shave, but very very curly, and uncontrollable (see pics on my profile)......easier to just shave it than to go all metro-sexual and spend an hour a day putting it in order.

So why are you an NDP shill than?

Says who?

I'm a fiscal conservative and social progressive.

Conservatives could be doing just that right now and I would be first in line for their vote.

It's just that unlike you, I don't pretend to be someone's friend on one day and then appear to back stab them the next day.

Another one who thinks that people who don't agree with him are insane. How come the woodwork is giving up these guys?
