"A Canadian Prime Minister can appoint judges, ratify treaties, send Canadian men and women into war, negotiate trade agreements, make patronage appointments, set the date of elections to suit his or her political advantage, determine when Parliament will be prorogued, when it will be recalled, and appoint the most senior public servants, all without reference to the MPs Canadians have elected to represent them. This is a parliamentary dictatorship and it must be brought to an end." - Bill Blakie.

In the same article.....

"Canada is not a democracy in the strictest sense of the word, but rather can be aptly described as a Constitutional Monarchy. The highest ranking official in government is not an elected representative, not even a Canadian (residing in or born in), but rather an un-elected British monarch."

See: United N.America

But the Economist Intelligence Unit says we are a Democracy & that France is a 'Flawed Democracy' so take your pick.

First thing ===>> HAHAHAHAHA .... in Tel Aviv... funny... made me laugh

Secondly, yeah you're right.

Voting is the illusion that we have a say in how we are governed. Really we are run by the money which is the financial system and major corporations which feed it.

We need to have our money created ONLY by the bank of Canada and no other institution or bank via lending. AND change the way it is made. Currently it is impossible to every pay off the debt in the western world!!

Debt is the new chains of slavery!!!

DEBT = SLAVERY

Next, the law giving corporations the same rights as a person must be removed.
-This is INSANE; a special privilege of human beings we have now bestowed upon a non-living, non-feeling, non-conscious thing which its only concern is profits
AT ANY COST!!!!!!!!

We can only do this together! Our revolution can also come...

Freedom from DEBT!!!!!!
Freedom from DEBT!!!!!!
FREEDOM FROM DEBT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Who are we in debt to?
Banks
Corporations

I guess if you over charge or have huge loans that you shouldn't have applied for in the first place... you've enslaved yourself.

Wow you really are American...
I was NOT talking about on a personal level. Try not to think about just yourself for a second.

I mean the way money is "created" for the system. How our governments (both, each in different ways) borrow money from PRIVATE corporations (Can-Banks, US-Tresury). Simply put for every dollar in use it cost us taxpayers one dollar plus interest ($1+%). Thus it is impossible to every pay off the debt in western countries

Let us not get destracted by the little things.

The important thing is we all unite to overthrow the top 1-5% of people in power. Their time is over!!

WE, THE PEOPLE, HAVE HAD ENOUGH!!

Seriously???... Really???
What is wrong with you people...
The "we the people..." part was for the benefit of our American friend there.
Next I am not talking about personal debt as an individual, but debt we all face as a society.
“We the people” may have originally created the debt only because of ignorance, our forefathers did not know any better. WE DO. That is why this is our “fight”. Our generations gift to the future. In the past they had world wars, or great depressions etc…
We have this. Global knowledge and communications allows us to do more than any generation before us.

As for individual debt, allow me to ask
At what age were you when you were first offered a credit card? A line of credit? A cell phone? Anything that can create “bad” debt?

I was quite young. Way to young to realize what damage I was doing. That is not morally or ethically right. But it happens every day in our society, getting kids hooked on debt.
Sad state of affairs.

And yes I am a revolutionary

Better question is, why aren’t you?

(Like being the bitch to the financial system do ya?)

Now I’m going to have to defend my position not because of its merits but because I insulted those last few posters by implying that they're bitches….

Oh how I love how petty human nature is…
(the reason for our current global state of unbalance wealth… think greed, perfect example of human nature)

And the jokes are funny... cuz i got my visa bill... ha ha ha
(credit cards are actually good when used correctly, free credit for one month, as long as total is paid back)

Knowledge is Power

LOL

Cell Phone: 9 y/o
Credit Card: 14 y/o
LoC: 16 y/o

So you are a lot older then I am. I do not expect you to understand the current situation our youth is facing.
At the ages you are quoting I hope you have some depth of personal responsibility.
As an impressionable teenage, in this day in age (with what our society currently preaches), it is a tough fight to stay debt free by the end of high school. Not to mention post secondary

Ask your kids...

So we can but you down as responsible and you and your kids and theirs will all responsibly approach the national debt which can never be repaid. That's insane you're clearly not responsible. Yer kids should put you away before you cost them their working lives or more.

darkbeaver--- what???
was the even english??
can you clarify?
preferably with better grammar
most of the words you used do not even make sense in a sentence together "...will all responsibly approach the national debt..."
you sure you didn't confuse a few words there?
