Colonoscopy is another story,...two months.... we only have one surgeon in town, and arseholes are not a priority....
It's probably acceptable because people, like myself, rarely ever visit the ER. On a similar note, making people wait for non-life threatening issues sort of discourages abuse of the system.
And conservatives have their heads up their butt when it comes to helping their fellow humans. Conservatism is an ideology too and is one of the darker realities out there, especially in the US where lunatic fringe conservatives have taken over by the shear volume of their self-righteous, obnoxious screaming. The vision's light blind's socialists to reality's darkness. Ideology trumps all.

Ok, I get the concept of 'Universal Triage". However, there is a federal law which says no one is to be turned away from treatment. We don't turn people away at all. If I broke my arm and went to the ER and I didn't have insurance, I would still get a cast.
Liberalism and it's close relatives communism and fascism have done more harm to mankind than anything in all of history. And conservatives have their heads up their butt when it comes to helping their fellow humans. This example is in the US? Have you seen his: Sicko - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
You should because it's an eye-opener. Esp. the part where hospitals were offloading patients because they knew they couldn't pay.
That wasn't condescending, that was a direct slam. There you go...being condescending again...
Liberals think the truth is obnoxious. What did I say that wasn't correct???That wasn't condescending, that was a direct slam.
Why do conservatives think they have a right to be obnoxious?
Yes I have. I've seen the shabby hospitals, I know that there aren't many doctors. I know all of this. It's why I am so outraged. I don't understand how you can possibly defend your country's dilapidated hospitals. They look like they belong in a third world country.
To be fair...anything by Michael More is suspect at best.
Naah you're just using the wrong head..........That wasn't condescending, that was a direct slam.

So I guess my comments need to be approved by a moderator now.
Let me ask all of you: are you truly happy with the services provided by your government? Do you honestly think it is remotely acceptable that you must wait and wait and wait for medical care? Don't any of you realize how awful universal health care is?
What did you say that you know anything about? You are a victim of all the conservative rhetoric flying around the US coming out of the talking heads on FAUX News. Most of Europe has universal health care and most of them rate far above the US. In fact, it is the conservatives in the US that seem to be the only ones on the planet who can't see the benefit. I wonder why that is? I find it interesting that you think that having to pay through the ass is a great freedom that needs to be protected. Oh, I know, you would rather pay taxes up the whazoo for starting wars all over the planet than to allow the poor access to health care. You are a very weird bunch indeed.Liberals think the truth is obnoxious. What did I say that wasn't correct???
You know what? Thank you for that advice. I have absolutely no idea how to do organize thru a private medical group. My mom is dying from kidney failure. It's complicated. However, it's very infuriating to see her suffer with her psoriasis. I wish Canada wasn't so enamored of socialism. It's beyond shameful.
Insulin? Debatable. Who Is the True Inventor of Insulin?

How is that socialized health care? That's the funny part they've managed to skip past the American public.... you HAVE socialized health care. But, it still doesn't apply to all things, like chemotherapy, etc., from what I understand.
