Try to defend the way Canada does anything. I dare you!

Really? Gold medals? Where are your god damn priorities?!Developing and maintaining a good international reputation.

I have family in Canada so your country's crappy system affects me directly. Your country doesn't care for its citizens properly.
I wish I could. But she is like so many other Canadians. She is anti-American and won't come here. It's truly sad how brainwashed you all are.
No. Canada's system of government is infuriating. Do you know how long it will take my mom to see a dermatologist? Her appointment is in MAY! What kind of health care is that?!
Just because you say it, doesn't make it true. I notice that not a one of you are disagreeing with what I am saying. Try to defend the way Canada does anything. I dare you!

I am truly grateful that my daughter will never be treated in a Canadian hospital. I am grateful that she is a citizen of a country that truly values freedom. But I ask you: why do you believe that government knows what's best for you?
It's not "a few weeks" it's three damn months! And I would love to have her treated here but she refuses. But that's really Canada's solution: go to the United States. Don't worry about improving your system, just go to a country where it's done better. Unbelievable.Just because you're whining about poor mommy having to wait a few weeks, stop ranting. Why don't you bring her down to Buffalo, and pay out of your pocket for her to see your lovely dermatologists then.
If you think private enterprise for health care is the ultimate, then pay up or shut up. The ball's in your court, not ours.
Why can't you just pay for her to get looked after in the great US of A?
I find it hilarious that you didn't mention any real accomplishments. You mentioned "making ourselves look good to the international community" and "hockey". Nice. You dared me... You didn't say anything about details
Like the Patriot Act style freedoms or maybe the kinda freedom that Arizona residents enjoy, especially those with a Spanish/Latin heritage?
Canadians are content to leave important decisions to the government. Is the Gov't. REALLY responsible for looking after OUR health? Next time you are down town, just take a seat somewhere and watch all the rolly polys in their 30s and 40s as they go huffing and puffing along on their way to McDonalds or Dairy Queen. Healthcare in British Columbia eats up over 40% of the provincial budget. What does that alone tell you?
Oh? Exactly how is what I am saying incorrect?boy, do I wish I had more time today for this little boy with his head stuffed up uncle sam's ass, mouthing off about crap that his tiny little one celled brain could not come close to understanding.

I don't know what province your mother is in however in Ontario as far as dermatology is concerned she can either run it through OHIP & wait her turn or there are multple private dermatological & cosmetic clinics available so she can pay out of pocket & that way go to the front of the line. Its really her decision.
Let me ask all of you: are you truly happy with the services provided by your government? Do you honestly think it is remotely acceptable that you must wait and wait and wait for medical care? Don't any of you realize how awful universal health care is?
How would she find a private clinic? I thought they were banned.So... I'm guessing that you're not to interested in answering my questions or replying to my suggestions.
Thanks for coming out... Our lovely hostess has a consolation prize for you at the door.
