Now that's funny.
I'm sure you could smoke enough dope for just about any level of delusion......
I've already explained to the panel why you are crazy, what baffels me is how you escape your restraints and sneak into the communications room.
Now that's funny.
I'm sure you could smoke enough dope for just about any level of delusion......
No, dividing the country is not needed now, nor is losing the confidence of the House. That is why this move by the Opposition is so clearly unnecessary......
Take a deep breath and look at the update. First of all, keep in mind it was a simple update........not a budget, which would be due in February. An update......
Now, what was so offensive in the update? As I see it, only one thing was offensive......removal of the right to strike is always offensive.......Otherwise?
Well, he didn't head immediately for deficit........as I remember, deficit spending was an issue in the campaign, which the CPC won by promising not to run one....as did Dion and Layton. Remember, our economy grew last quarter, our unemployment rate is low.........
But, Harper did not ignore the fact that there is a world-wide economic downturn. He doubled infrastructure spending, he moved to garauntee mortgages and pensions, and to lower interest rates. And he warned that further spending might be necessary, taking us to a small deficit, which might appear in the budget.
He was waiting for the new President in the USA to take office.......stimulus needs to be handled in concert with the Yanks in our integrated society.....especially in the auto sector.
All this is good. Prudent. Cautious. Good Government.
Don't kid yourself. The reason the poop hit the impeller is simple: All three opposition parties were outraged that Harper would end all subsidies to parties. They ignored the fact that the largest subsidy cut went to......the Conservative Party. This Act cost the Conservatives more money than anyone else.....and pulling the Political Parties....all of them....off the public teat was the right thing to do, even if done for the wrong reason.
So, if you don't like it, write the NDP a cheque.....I'm writing one for the Conservatives.
As far as I'm concerned, Dion, and Layton have lost their minds.......
I think Harper will get a reprieve from the GG and between now and January the separatist coalition falls apart.
That's my guess.I think Harper will get a reprieve from the GG and between now and January the separatist coalition falls apart.
Losing support in Quebec is hardly a news item. The rest of Canada means nothing in Quebec. Never has, never will. Time we got use to it and stopped worrying about what might appease them. The appeasement has cost the rest of us too much already.
My brother has lived for 30 years in an English speaking community on the west side of Montreal and there is a large population in Quebec that is not like the rest of them and they don't buy this Bloc b.s. at all. A good 30%-40% of the population of Montreal is English speaking & just like normal human beings.
I'll second that.Long live the new Republic of Western America. To hell with Central Canada!

You know Kreskin that's a good question.
About a three minute walk from where I live is a convenience store and just as you walk in is the newspaper rack.
Yesterday afternoon I was looking at the headlines and front pages of The Montreal Gazette, The Ottawa Citizen, La Presse, The Globe and Mail, The Ottawa Sun and the Toronto Sun and there wasn't an opinion poll to be found anywhere.
Are we not in a crisis here, yet no-one seems to care about public opinion?
Makes you wonder.
