My considered opinion is that the secretive autocratic contemptuous Mr. Harper does not deserve to be PM. Unfortunately, nobody else in sight deserves it either.
Mr. Peter Kent has now been muzzled by the staff AKA - the Pit Bull Crew - regarding the Terrorist Candidate for the Cons - Guess Harper will go to no end to gain the ethnic vote - Oh so Liberal he is.

I disagree. Harper has political ideologies ...

What are they? Where has he articulated them the way Iggy was able to with a book?

... and leadership ...
He's not a leader... he's a boss. He could *never* inspire me to follow him with his attitude.

through out his bio, ie his interests are about as sincere an anyone can have.
Okay... does he articulate in his bio what his interest and ideologies are? Or is one supposed to interpolate it from his actions?

In contrast, Iggy seems like a prestige seeking career man, someone that can not stroke his ego anymore with academia so he's moved into politics.
That's what I don't get. In the first place, where do you get the impression of it being an ego trip, and if it's a career move, since when did career moves become verboten?

So he was working in academia. How much ego-stroking do you think students give their profs? The hotter the university, the hotter the students are to usurp their profs.

How do you know some party reps from his home and native land didn't approach him and say, "We read your book, and you're our kind'a guy, and we see you're accustomed to being challenged by the best students in America, so do you think you can handle the mud-slinging of the clodhoppers from Alberta who are so rich they can afford to be dumb?"

If it was you, and it was a step up and you believed you could do it, are you supposed to take shame in feeling like you'd accomplished something?

The only time I've seen careerism be corrupt is when the system gets rigged by family and connections to get an unqualified person into the job.

However, if it is a true meritocracy, where ...

... you f-cks don't know how many time I got bailed out by Americans, do you?

Are you going to say, "How did you discover my secret fetish for abuse? Indeed, my ego will *love* getting bashed by far-right media and millions of other nimrods too illiterate to have read my book."

You f-cks don't know anything about how far free enterprise before the community might say that's not how it would like things to be.

Lemme dumpt on you.

All the dumbest yet possibly closest connected to to bashing shell of Lucifer get conned.

I'm thinking of a way to... darn... in order to keep typing I have to keep praying. You have obviously never done business with H'vill AL...

and In exchange for al the falsness coud ever be...

I give you the best of the 50's http://tunes.digitalock.com/PhantomoftheParadiseGoodbyeEddieGoodbye.mp3

Do you realize that when you choose to criticize an entire province of working Canadians that you might be undermining your own credibility? About 30% of Alberta's population has recently come from hard working families throughout Canada, they aren't rich and they aren't dumb.

If you are going to be so ignorant about them, then tell me why we shouldn't assume that you are ignorant about everything that you write?

If you have a decent grasp of English, you'd notice that what you quoted was implying that the politicians are the rich and dumb ones, not the whole province. You ought to consider the context of what someone is saying before you rip one quote out and misrepresent it. Hmm, are you a politician by chance?

and who is 'Lucifer'? this guy that you are defending is truly ignorant.

So about the Cons, the Terror Candidate from TO -That Tamil guy - who was slammed by Peter Kent. Minister of Environment - Politically quite savvy - Do you think Mr. Kent was talking off the top of his head - Going against Harper - Kent is well educated and been around the block more than a few time.

To have Harper step that low to gain the ethnic Tamil vote is as i mentioned before Oh so liberal.

Do you recall how harper slammed the Libs for much the same thing - cuddling up to terror supporters - yet he is doing the same thing - why - tactics - analyze what seats you have a Chance at - then target them -

I'm not defending anyone...otherwise I would have defended what they said, rather than observing that you didn't understand what you were quoting. Though alternately, maybe you did and misrepresented anyways.

Now that he's trained his mouth cannon on NDP gains, he's pretty much confirmed what I thought of the man all along - a narcissistic twit who doesn't know the meanings of the words compromise or co-operate. He doesn't play well with others. That isn't the sort of representative Canada needs in foreign negotiations.

I disagree. 30 seconds is the length of a full length commercial, sound bytes seldom are that long,

Better watch more TV - Why do you think they are called 30 second sound bites.

Now some advice

You seem to have the impression that because I did not dot the( i)- well I really meant this. Or the sentence had a double negative so it really meant this or that. Grammatically you would be correct.

I made some posts, used specific terms and was held to account by Corduroy - Now that poster used and was polite about my errors- i was in error - the poster stated so - I reviewed what I had written, and I was indeed incorrect.

Now if you want to play grammar school or the mature choice would be to clarify, is entirely up to you.

But please do not use that Clintensque Speak on us.

Basically - Be cooperative, explain, reason out why, detail an opinion, back it up - But do not be an arse.
2 choices - yours to make.

Just some advice from an old guy with a grade 9 education.

Goober, wtf are you going on about?

I haven't discussed with you on this topic simply because I haven't bothered to read anything on it. The entire Tamil Tiger thing happened under my radar. I don't know anything about it. It was only last night that you sent me a private message about this, and It was only last night that I said that I would read about it. I still haven't done so.

Your last two posts are kinda disturbing, its like you have way too much invested into a conversation that we haven't had. In fact, it almost sounds like you have already started this conversation without me, or you have already had this conversation with someone else and now I'm hearing the end of it instead of the begining.

Rather than waiting for my comments, why don't you share the info and your side of the story? I'll read it, as I'm sure most on this thread will.

Who are you talking about?

Are you guys nuts?

Did it ever occur to you that if you don't get educated you'll end up with a government as stupid as your advertising and/or as mutton headed as Alberta Dutch Reform Calvinists?

I come back and what do I find for a nation worth defending? You f-cks have no clue what it takes to defend a border. It's getting thin. It used to be we could use ecologic supremacy as the justification.

Hang on... I'm going to find a tune... pretend I'm a guy showing people how to skate... http://tunes.digitalock.com/Will.I.Am-AlexOnTheSpot.mp3

*hick* I'm home, so... pretend you're teaching kids how to skate on the Ottawa canal.

Pretend you're teaching kids how to do trap game.

Pretend you get down on your knees and pray, because I did and the deal is I have to figure out how the sky looks blue with the feeling of love in the next dimension.

I sensed a thing where God would love it if we killed Lucifer by virtue of this thing about evolution from dust and then we make a peace treaty with God for our souls to be kept alive after our bodies die.

I am so glad to be back with the woman I love.

You don't have to write a book to articulate your ideology. Harper has said enough things publicly to know where he stands. Google "Stephen Harper quotes" and spend an hour or so learning about the man if you so desire.

How does that make Harper any different from the rest of them?

I think he might not notice that as a frowned upon act, it's a tactic he employs all to frequently himself. Albeit with a heavy helping of racial bigotry and generalization.
