With logic like that, I hope you only drink water or fruit juice, although even juice would be questionable.

Coffee is definitely out, we 'don't need it' and we 'aren't supposed to drink it' according to nature.

People who use that logic as a reason not to drink milk always make me laugh. Drink it or not, but skip the foolish justifications that don't hold any water.

Way to try and stretch that beyond any reasoning..... you clearly didn't get my logic.

Based on Your above logic, if we can't or won't drink milk then we shouldn't eat or drink anything and simply die.

And indeed, for the most part, I do only drink water, juice and the such. I also drink alcohol, pop, coffee & other things like that..... but you don't see me trying to suck the milk out of animals teets or praying for some woman on the street to spray their damn breast milk all over me to fulfill some kink.

Tell me, do you also eat baby food?

How about baby formula??

My only issue is how we're bombarded with commercials and ads telling us we should drink so many glasses of milk a day or if you don't drink milk, then you're going to turn into a brittle cripple and die at a young age, as if it's absolutely necessary for our survival..... which it's not.

I have continually said time and time again in these forums that "to each their own" if you like that stuff, if you want to drink it, if you have kinks towards someone shooting their breast milk into your mouth, all the power to you.

I don't and I explained why... if you don't like it, then I guess that's too damn bad.

I believe man is the only species that bakes bread and drinks coffee, too.

What does that have to do with anything? It's the stupidest justification for not drinking milk that I've ever heard.

Compared to your stupid justifications and attitude that implies we must drink milk and anybody who doesn't is an idiot?

Yeah, we bake bread, we cook our food, we eat meat, we eat veggies & fruit, we even make clothing out of animals and other forms of vegetation..... and we drink milk from cows.

One of these things is not like the others. We don't drink rats milk, we don't drink elephant's milk, we don't drink pigs milk..... hell, we could even have human milk in the stores, which could have had some level of sense to it..... but we don't..... we just stick to cow's milk.

And that makes sense to you?

oky doky.

If your logic for not drinking milk is that man is the only species that drinks milk from another species, so it's wrong, then how do you justify drinking coffee? Man is the only species that drinks coffee.

Coffee is a bean from a plant..... we do all sorts of things with plants. With all kinds of animals, we eat their eggs, we eat their meat, we make cloathing out of their skins..... yet cows are the only animal we drink their milk in abundance.

Which generally has piles of hormones and chemicals loaded into in order to make the cow produce more milk or make the milk more "Nutritious"

Coffee doesn't come from another species..... so your example & argument is flawed.

Anyways, this seems to be getting well beyond the original topic.... just saying.

And then there is goat's milk.

Sheep's milk is as close to mother's milk as you can get: finer fat globules than goat, easier to digest, sweet and healthier. The Dutch drink a lot of it and it makes some of the finest cheese in the world.

And then there is goat's milk.

Yeah that crossed my mind as well.... which imo is even worse.

And just to repeat, what started all of this was this:

"You know, there's a reason why I don't drink milk often"

Which I posted above.... keep in mind the "Why I Don't".... I never said why everybody shouldn't, nor did I demand others to stop.

Then someone got their nipples in a twist..... pun intended.

..... To get back on topic a bit, if I was one of those officers who "Got Sprayed" by breast milk, I'd be taking her to the ground, cuffing her and tossing her arse in jail too, because it's just as bad as someone spitting on you, peeing on you, etc.

You don't know what they're carrying or what you might catch and I certainly wouldn't be impressed with having to do the rest of my shift in a uniform covered in some angry nut cases breast milk or other bodily fluids.

I didn't get my nipples in a twist, I simply pointed out that the reason you stated for not drinking milk (humans are the only species..) was completely stupid.

Humans are the only species that drives cars, too.

It's a completely pointless argument to use as a reason for not doing something.

Do it, or don't do it, who cares, but don't trot out blatantly stupid rationales, and try to claim there's reason for it.

T.P. You have a habit of judging other's opinions as "completely stupid" and you forget that other's opinions are just as if not more valid than what yours are. You of all people certainly don't have the corner on intelligence!

So because you think my reasoning is stupid, I should do something? (ie: drink milk)

The original point being is that many other animals/species do drink milk.... their own species' milk, generally from their own mother for a period of time.... and then they grow up and move on with their lives.

Oh and by the way:

Sorry but it's not as stupid as saying "well we drink coffee and we drive cars, so why not drink milk?"

Seriously, what kind of argument or justification is that? How the hell is that any better of an argument?

Well hell, we're the only species that flies planes, so why don't we go and suck the semen out of a antelope, simply because we can?

If she wasted that breast milk at the expense of the well-being of her child, she is undoubtedly guilty. If not, her action shows that she has an excellent sense of humour, and the ability to defend herself.

Can you show me where I said you should drink milk?

Do you have a post where I claimed that my opinions are either a, not stupid, or b, more valid than others?

I don't drink milk. At the age of 2, while visiting my uncle's dairy farm in the Netherlands, I may have been given goat's milk, and from that day on I refused to drink milk. I warm it up and add coffee because everyone needs a dose of calcium/Vit D from time to time.

The question is more about how any grown man could have an affection for breast milk, and whether the officers were so injured that they required addition officers for back-up. I'm also beginning to question the facts of the case. Women are not cows that spray breast milk from 20 or 6 or 3 feet away, so how much injury was actually caused by the breast milk and how close were they when this happened.

Was this a spray or a leak?

So ... they arrested her? Have they no sense of humor?

What were they doing ... running around yelling that some woman sprayed them with breast milk ... and it hurt? That led them to believe they needed additional police officers?

Just like in blood or spit, there could be the risk of disease in the breast milk. Therefore, I don't blame them for not "having a sense of humour". How would you like it if you were walking along the sidewalk and someone sprayed milk all over you. I don't know about you, but I wouldn't find it to be very funny.

Man is the only specy who drinks another specy's milk.

That is incorrect. You hear in the news all the time about how a nursing dog will feed a zoo animal who's mother has rejected it. This has happened with other animals before as well.

I was remiss, I should have added "under normal circumstances".

Indeed.... I'd consider it no differently then someone p*ssing on you or tossing one of their arse-brownies at your head.

So you're thinking the complaining police officers were minding their own business and along came a breast milk spraying woman that injured them so they required backup? What do you think her breast milk spraying radius was? Women are not cows that spray breast milk one or two meters, it ain't like that. How close were the police officers when they were sprayed by breast milk, and how did that impinge upon their decision to require additional police officers?

Are you suggesting that the breast milk spraying woman was trying to feed other animals?

There seems to be some issue about some men liking breast milk but the only question I have is why the police officers called for back-up after being assaulted with a close encounter with breast milk.

They required backup as she was drunk and was being beligerent in public, and probably required the backup. And the officer would have to get close to her to determine how drunk she was. He's not about to shout from a distance. Just because she was a new mother doesn't mean she can't be held to the same rules and laws as everyone else. She was drunk in public and the police were required.

And where did you get the idea that I thought she was trying to feed other animals. If you go back and read my post, you will see that I was replying to JLM who stated that humans were the only ones who drank milk from a different species and my reply was letting him know he was incorrect.
