I heard from the inspired interpreter of the Quran that there is a group of Christians who believe Jesus is not God or son of God, but only son of man and the apostle of God Most Gracious; I remember he said they are Yahweh witnesses; if not, then is there any such sect, and what are they called?
I believe you are right and conqueror is wrong. But you never know, the JWs are always changing their beliefs to suck in more converts. At one time they put more emphasis on the OT but in the past 20 years or more they have been referring to themselves as Christian, which is a radical change in tactics as far as I know. I think they are just being opportunistic.

Basically I view the JWs as a pyramid scheme for the Watch Tower Press, a printing company. They claim they are not a religion but a spiritual movement. But their methodology smacks of a get rich quick scheme.

No-one ,,,, I'm not going. If there is an afterlife, it's going to be on my terms after I am done with MY body. I think I have earned a choice and I choose not to be around some immature psychopath like the Christian god. :D

Why do you or anyone else lock his or her luck and substitute misfortune instead of good fortune?

(Does man [: the denier of the sending forth to the afterlife] deem that We [can]not recollect his [rotten] bones?

Yes, indeed; We are Able even to restore [the prints of] his finger tips [but no need for that; because man in fact is the spiritual soul.]

But man aims [from his denial of the sending-forth to the Hereafter] to go on as a profligate.

He questions[with his denial]: "When is the Doomsday!?"

But when the sight is dazed.
And the moon is cleft.
And the sun and moon are joined together.

On the day [the unbelieving man] shall say: "Wither to flee?"

No, but he will not be hidden [in any shelter!]

On that day, the [only] repose will be in the neighborhood of your Lord.

On that day, the [unbelieving] man shall be informed of what [prohibitions] he had put forward [so he had committed the prohibitions], and [of what religious duties he had] put back [so he had forsaken them.])

The above between brackets is the explanation, by Mohammed-Ali Hassan, of the Quran ayat 75: 3-13

I am going to Ron Hubbard's mothership after I pay the $300,000 entry fee to the nearest Church of Scientology.

I'll pass on this Christian heaven stuff: I'd rather go drinking, fighting and whoring with my ancestors in Valhalla
That's more along the lines of what I had in mind. Whoever wants to spend eternity weaving baskets and playing golf in a place with no food or sex and is run by some pedomorph is nuts, IMO. :D

Sounds much more reasonable. Heaven should be fun, not a penence.

Do we want our children brought up to believe that fun is er ah fun? What would this do to their work ethic which we spend huge sums every fiscal period trying to enhance primarily with the postulate that fun is not to be had freely? This heaven scheme places us in great moral peril by compromising the very foundation of human to god relationship by sure and destructive erosion of the proven path of agony and guilt favoured by acredited and approved theological agents of the various commercial outlets worldwide. No my friend heaven must remain an expensive attainment lest its value be diminished by gratis application of mercy and charity. God moves in mysterious unfathomable ways, best not to interfere in her work I recon.

I have it on good authority that the purveyors of god myths are full of the proverbial BS. Theologians by nature have their heads up their butts. The protestant work ethic is not ethical at all, it is a form of slavery. And the religious who think their way is the only way are headed in the opposite direction than what they think they are. The goddess is benevolence. God is a wannabe.

Yeah, spend your life in miserable drudgery. Forget fun. Good plan. Go for it.

EA is it true that you secretly desire to be a lawyer in parradice?

Ha ha ha,
DB, I hope to find myself saved and prosper in Paradise; but a lawyer in Paradise? this indeed is some lofty position granted by God Most High. But I am a sinner and I repent and ask God's forgiveness.

What an honor: this is the intercessor by God's leave; none may intercede to God on the behalf of anyone, unless this is by the leave or permission of God - be glorified.

Heaven should be fun, not a penence.

The situation of Paradise or the Kingdom of Heavens

Paradise is called "Heaven" by Christians; and in fact Paradise is in heaven, as proved by the late interpreter dedicating that from the ayat of the Quran.

"God - be exalted - said in the Quran 13: 35

مَّثَلُالْجَنَّةِالَّتِي وُعِدَالْمُتَّقُونَتَجْرِيمِنتَحْتِهَاالأَنْهَارُأُكُلُهَادَآئِمٌوِظِلُّهَا

The explanation:
(The likeness of the Garden which those who safeguard [themselves against God's punishment] are promised,
beneath [the trees of] which rivers flow;
its food is perpetual,
and [likewise] its shade!)

Here, (its food is perpetual, and [likewise] its shade) is an indication that it is not on any planet; for if Paradise were an earth like our Earth, then the shadow or the shade would be transmitting upon it, and it would not be continuous or perpetual.

Suppose that would be at the time of the Earth's standstill from its axial rotation, and the shade on it would then be continuous, uninterrupted, then it would be a hell, not a prosperity and paradise: that would be in the side facing the sun; while the side which is not facing the sun, it will be a bitterly cold place; because of the severity of coldness there.

Therefore, Paradise cannot be on any earth, but it is in heaven."

Moreover, it is confirmed that Paradise is in heaven:
"God - be exalted - said in the Quran 68: 34

إِنَّلِلْمُتَّقِينَعِندَرَبِّهِمْجَنَّاتِالنَّعِيمِ

The explanation:
(Surely, for those who ward off [God's punishment], with their Lord [in the spiritual heavens] there will be gardens of prosperity.)

It means: in His neighborhood in the heaven."

In fact its position is in the region of Moon:
"The position of the Paradises or Gardens is in heaven, in the region of the Moon, but the Paradises are of wide extension, so that the Moon, in relation to them, is like a drop in relation to the sea</SPAN>."

"God - be exalted - said in the Quran 71: 15-16

أَلَمْتَرَوْاكَيْفَخَلَقَاللَّهُسَبْعَسَمَاوَاتٍطِبَاقًا . وَجَعَلَالْقَمَرَفِيهِنَّنُورًاوَجَعَلَالشَّمْسَسِرَاجًا

The explanation:
(Have you not regarded how God created seven [ethereal] heavens, one above another,'
'And made the moon [as] a light therein, and made the sun [as] a lamp?')"

The kingdom of heavens (or Paradise or the ethereal heavens) is situated in the outer space, and it is very extensive: its extent is like the extent of the planets of the solar system and the space which they occupy.

"God - be exalted - said in the Quran 3: 133

وَسَارِعُواْإِلَىمَغْفِرَةٍمِّنرَّبِّكُمْوَجَنَّةٍعَرْضُهَاالسَّمَاوَاتُوَالأَرْضُأُعِدَّتْلِلْمُتَّقِينَ

The explanation:
([Vie with one another] and hurry to [have] forgiveness from your Lord [by giving alms] and [to enter] a Garden, whose extent is [like the extent] of the heavens and the earth, prepared for those who ward off [the disobedience of God.] )

The meaning: Its extent is like the vast extent of the planets, that are widely scattered in the space."
