Ontario here, born, raised, educated, and currently work. I see from the poll that there's nobody from Manitoba or Quebec. I wonder why though. With so many people on this site, you'd think there would be at least one person from each.
Just because they have not chosen to respond to this thread doesn't mean they are not here. There are people here from (I believe) all provinces and some from the USA and a couple from other countries as well. I thin one from China and a couple from Russia - not quite sure. It might be that they simply have not read the thread.Ontario here, born, raised, educated, and currently work. I see from the poll that there's nobody from Manitoba or Quebec. I wonder why though. LOL - maybe I should have added it to "my wish list". ;-):lol:Methinks you'd like that a little too much.![]()

"You are absolutely correct. Nakusp and the entire general are is _forgive for saying this - is GOD's country." Well you are pretty close- just another 100 miles west at N49 01 and you are right at the centre of God's country.
You been drinking again - No coast in Ontario - Go East. West or North. Gods country PEIThe South Coast of Ontario --Banana belt
Tell me about Nakusp and general area, I'm interested, don't know much about
that part of the country.
Everytime I see this thread I just want to say..
Planet Earth
Then I remember how stupid it would look...:lol::lol:![]()
Nakusp is nestled on the shores of the Arrow Lakes, 100 Kms south of Revelstoke, sandwiched between the Selkirk and Monashee mountain ranges. We have an almost coastal rain forest climate, moderate temperatures in winter and hot summers (usually). I believe it is the only interior rain forest in Canada. Amazing variety of flora and fona, monster rainbow and bull trout and tons of wildlife. It is kinda like Vancouver Island except we still have some forest left.
OK, now I know the area, travelled through there a few years back, golfed at
Revelstoke, nice course, with the columbia river passing on both sides , as it rounds the course, which sticks out like a pennisula. Sure needed
the deep forest mosquito repellant though, or they would have flown away
with me.
