It is a dumb sign but someone who knows you (or whoever)cannot read/write, can do so for you so that you can learn. Obviously the "literate" person who made up the sign doesn't think too well.

A few years back UBC installed accessible-to-disabled washrooms. The problem was, they did this in one of the oldest buildings and the washrooms were at the bottom of a long flight of stairs, no elevator.
It would make sense that people who design and build/renovate for the disabled would actually consult the disabled. So far, it seems to be just a thought.
