I actually like upfront insults as apposed to the cowardly, escapable snipes that certain members employ.

There's something more respectable about someone who's willing to just put it out there, instead of hiding behind cleverly crafted insults, meant to taunt and annoy.

I do love the back flips they do when they get called on them and their typical self righteous pomposity comes screaming out. It always makes me laugh.

Which you're not allowed to use within city limits

You can use a retarder, just not an exhaust brake inside the city. The terms are often used incorectly even by people that should know better. a retarder is a driveline brake and cat is about the only one in N America that uses it. all the rest are exhaust brakes of one kind or another wether it is a Jacbobs Brake that opens the exhaust valves just before ignition or Pac Brake or simmular that simply blocks off the exhaust pipe.

Since I used to be just a backyard mechanic (used to be because these new engines in the last 15 years need specialized tools) I'll have to take your word for that, because to explain it so I could understand you would have to write about a dozen pages.
But you have peaked my curiosity....I will have to look it up....not because I don't believe you but simply to learn another thing, that I probably will never use.
Or ask my nephew at coffee sometimes, he's a retired diesel mechanic, he enjoys giving me lessons lol
