After giving the issue much thought I have come up with the difference between old stock and new stock. Old Stock is the various waves of immigrants that came here to make a better life for themselves and their kids and did their best to fit in to Canadian society. New stock is the current waves of refugees that come here with no intent of adapting and integrating with Canadian society and demanding that we change our laws and customs to suit their ideas. Color has nothing to do with it.
Yep, Old stock Canadians can be Black ,White and all the colors in between, they don't have a special dress code except on special occasions or holidays.They might have an accent that some find hard to understand until you're used to it and they might speak their mother tongue when they are with people from their "old country" but they don't try to "impose" their old laws or customs on their adopted country, but follow the rules and customs of Canada, if they want to become "Old Stock" themselves.
Still no explanation from flossy here either. Perhaps he is not familiar with how Canada was actually created and by whom, just like the children, or he does not care is more likely.
No wonder that bear does not respect you.
