The two-page summary from the Democratic staff of the Senate Veterans Affairs Committee described allegations that Jackson wrecked a government vehicle after getting drunk at a Secret Service going-away party. The document gave no indication when the alleged incident happened.
According to the document, Jackson also stands accused of a ��pattern�� of handing out medications with no patient history, prescribing medications to himself and contributing to a hostile work environment with ��a constant fear of reprisal.��
Jackson, 50, a rear admiral and former combat physician who served in Iraq, has been under fire for days amid questions about his qualifications to lead the Department of Veterans Affairs and allegations of his management practices at the White House Medical Unit.

What was not often acknowledged in Trump's heated race against Democrat Hillary Clinton, however, was how her campaign fueled his rise to power.
An email recently released by the whistleblowing organization WikiLeaks shows how the Clinton campaign and Democratic Party bear direct responsibility for propelling the bigoted billionaire to the White House.
In its self-described "pied piper" strategy, the Clinton campaign proposed intentionally cultivating extreme right-wing presidential candidates, hoping to turn them into the new "mainstream of the Republican Party" in order to try to increase Clinton's chances of winning.
The Clinton campaign and Democratic National Committee called for using far-right candidates "as a cudgel to move the more established candidates further to the right." Clinton's camp insisted that Trump and other extremists should be "elevated" to "leaders of the pack" and media outlets should be told to "take them seriously."
The strategy backfired — royally.
On April 23, 2015, two weeks after Hillary Clinton officially declared her presidential campaign, her staff sent out a group message with information for a "strategy call." The email included as an attachment a "memo for the DNC discussion."

Michael Cohen asserts Fifth Amendment rights in Stormy Daniels case
Michael Cohen, the longtime personal attorney for President Donald Trump, filed court papers Wednesday indicating he would assert his Fifth Amendment rights against self-incrimination regarding his involvement in a hush money deal involving porn star Stormy Daniels and the President.
Cohen cited FBI raids of his residence, office and hotel room and the seizure of "various electronic devices and documents in my possession," in his filing in US District Court in Los Angeles.
"Based upon the advice of counsel, I will assert my Fifth Amendment rights in connection with all proceedings in this case due to the ongoing criminal investigation by the FBI and US Attorney for the Southern District of New York," Cohen said.

If approved, the zero-tolerance measures could split up thousands of families, although officials say they would not prosecute those who turn themselves in at legal ports of entry and claim asylum. Federal officials say 67 percent of migrants who claimed asylum in the first quarter of this fiscal year crossed the border illegally.
