I would take a private flight. Just the cost of the avgas. It also gives me the option of flying up the coast of the mainland.
Yes it is a beautiful flight , I have van will travel , and love the island north south east west , I enjoy the establishments in the larger cities and the bounty of the coasts and forests . Chanterelle mushrooms are easy to find in the late summer and early fall . The coasts provide oysters clams muscles sea weed ( nori ) without need to have a boat . But if you have , crab prawns shrimp cod salmon . $ 150 once ina while not bad , didI mention the scenery ? Wildlife , wolves , cougar bear eagles osprey vultures . Diversity of species ?

Murphy: If you are coming to the coast..... and Vancouver Island... Some must sees and dos' are whale watching with a company called Jamies. In Tofino Visit the beaches along the west coast of the island for some greet ocean activity. (surfing) Take an air tour of the area for breathtaking view of the coast........ Spectacular at near sunset .

Simply ..... enjoy nature at its best ..;-) As I live on the coast...... we go to these areas at least twice a yr ......for their pure natural magic.

Who are his groomers and handlers and to whom does he owe lots of money?

While addressing the Federal Assembly on March 1, President Putin said that Russia has developed new invincible weapons. Speaking to Radio Sputnik, Harvey Wasserman, co-founder of the global grassroots No Nukes movement and author of Solartopia, lauded Putin's speech and shared his views on Russia's defense strategy.

Sputnik: What are your thoughts on President Putin's speech? Did anything what he said come as a surprise to you?
Harvey Wasserman: No, but I think it was brilliant. I mean, as an American, we look at Donald Trump and then we look at Putin, and Putin is obviously much more intelligent than Trump; and I think he has Trump in his back pocket, because a lot of financial dealings Trump has done with Russian billionaires — which I think many of them were probably illegal and will definitely haunt the Trump administration. What I've seen with Putin's talk he is truly talking about weapons that are on another level of technology and which will ultimately be much cheaper than the ICBM [intercontinental ballistic missiles] / B-52 type of nuclear deterrence.

And then there's Coombs and the goats on the roof! Lots of good camping spots within a few miles of Port Alberni.

Dark days inside the White House as Trump shocks and rages

https://www.washingtonpost.com/?wpisrc=al_trending_now__alert-national&wpmk=1

Stable people for leadership is not a requirement for POTUS anymore.

This lunatic is becoming a wold class loose cannon.

at least that is a U.S. "domestic " issue. If they want to worship their guns.......fine. Let them. If they want to be controlled by the NRA........ that is their choice......(such as it is) If they want to continue to live in a violent society...... fine. Other craziness coming from Trump is affecting the world negatively. Maybe the childish lunatic likes chaos ......... and creating it.........but the rest of the planet is responding negatively......

that lunatic has a very "evil" streak in him.......and he could care less about who and how many countries are hurt.

Trump's impulsive Tariff proposal could have devastating effects. They should check their own history.....and see what protectionism like we are seeing now did to the world. the US will be affected negatively too.

You sure you aren't over reacting a little? It will all come out in the wash and probably for the best.

‘Pure madness’

He could be "decompensating"...... mentally. and getting more paranoid.

Mueller’s Focus on Adviser to Emirates Suggests Broader Investigation

https://www.nytimes.com/2018/03/03/...3&nl=breaking-news&nlid=55065696&ref=headline

Mueller seems like the one calm, stable professional in the whole place. A polar opposite to the mad hatter in the white house. Getting his job done. No silly temper tantrums on Twitter, no impulsive outbursts. ........just a consummate professional.

Not familiar with it.

You sure you aren't over reacting a little? It will all come out in the wash and probably for the best.
I guess, we will see..... but it seems like a lot of unnecessary turbulence to get there. If a regular company had the same chaos and staff turnover (instability) ......it would not last long. If a company alienated other companies, and people the way the mad hatter does.......well, you get the drift ;-)

Oddly enough Donald Trump may become the best friend the anti gun movement ever had.

A large part of his dysfunction is his need to differentiate himself from the norm (any norm). Therefore when the NRA has the entire US government under control Trump will - naturally for him - refuse to comply.

In off the cuff remarks to lawmakers last week he pointed out the "you" - everyone else in the room - are afraid of the NRA.

Not Trump.

The NRA is nothing to Trump and the 2nd amendment is just a rule.

I actually have great faith that Trump will wreck the NRA and that's all he has to do.

btw on tariffs President Poop for Brains just said that steel tariffs could come off after a nafta deal.

SO at the moment these tariffs are tweet-level reality, and in Canada's case have only been put out there as a way to put some pressure on us in nafta negotiations.

Nothing that happens under Trump can be considered permanent. That is the dilemma we are in - having to make a deal that we know is not going to last beyond this president.

Are you an American, Flossy? You see, President Trump is the president of the United States. Both the NRA and President Trump's work with the NRA doesn't actually affect you. I guess you just want to hang out with the complainers.

As well, and I will repeat this over and over, Trump is a negotiator. He says whatever he needs to, in order to bargain from a position of power. That includes the threat of tariffs. Enacting or removing gun laws, etc.

I will repeat: Trump is not your president. The NRA cannot operate outside of the US. Perhaps this will become apparent as you grow up.

The evil NRA is coming to get you . They will teach you proper gun handling and storage if you aren’t careful .

The 4 most likely outcomes of Robert Mueller's investigation

Here is a pretty comprehensive look at what the possible outcomes are in the Mueller investigation at this point. The "dream clean" outcome where the Trump and his staff are completely exonerated in collusion and in obstruction is included even though it is no longer really possible.

The fate of Trump may well become moot if the GOP takes the shellacking in November that they seem to be headed for.

Trump: King of Chaos

That seemed to be the descriptor most tossed around last week to capture the circus around Donald Trump.
But I think chaos is the fruit of this poison tree, not the root of it. That is to say that I don’t believe that Trump desires chaos because he feels most at peace when the world around him is experiencing pandemonium.
Rather, I believe that this chaos is the perpetual result of the absolute incompetence and idiocy of a preening philistine who has faked his way through life pretending that he knows more than he does and is tougher than he is.
He has two diametrically opposed impulses.
On the one hand, he latches on to outlandish ideas, or simple, emotional aspects of complicated issues, or conspiratorial drivel, and he vests the whole of his emotional energy into proving their veracity, often against overwhelming evidence to the contrary. President Obama wasn’t born in America. Obama used the F.B.I. to spy on him. There were good people on both sides in Charlottesville. The “fake news media” is the enemy of the American people. The whole Russia investigation is a hoax. He’s doing a good job as president.
