THAT is INTENT ........to obstruct justice.

We shall see if trump is still enthusiastic about being interviewed by Meuller.

His lawyer says that it will be up to the legal team if Trump is questioned. They are scared of what loose lips will say.

President Trump sought the firing of Robert S. Mueller III last June, shortly after the special counsel took over the investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 election, and he backed off only after White House Counsel Donald F. McGahn threatened to resign over the move.

The extraordinary showdown was confirmed by two people familiar with the episode, which was first reported by the New York Times.

McGahn did not deliver his resignation threat directly to Trump, but was serious about his threat to leave, according to a person familiar with the episode.

Let me briefly explain what I see when I read OB's posts.

She's frustrated, because the president of the USA is someone who she personally does not like. When she posts these "news stories", she does not vet them properly. She just runs with them, hoping that one will stick. The trouble is, she's always wrong.

She becomes even angrier when her "news stories" turn out to be bogus, or outright lies. That will not stop her from posting however.

As some friends pointed out a few days ago, she doesn't have a proper understanding of the US system of government. She assumes that the president makes all the decisions, issues all the orders to the FBI, DoJ, the military and others. She doesn't understand how the houses of Congress work. In short, her lack of comprehension and the number of number of spurious posts have destroyed her credibility.

The only thing that bothered me was when I was asked if this reflected how Canada felt about the US, Trump, and life south of the border. I said no. We probably have the same percentage of ill informed or crazy people in Canada that you have down here. Ultra left and ultra right groups never get traction. They laughed and said it seems that Canada is more like the US than they thought. Can't say as I would disagree.
